آٰلۡـٰٔنَ وَقَدۡ عَصَیۡتَ قَبۡلُ وَکُنۡتَ مِنَ الۡمُفۡسِدِیۡنَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

What! Now! while thou wast disobedient before this and wast of those who create disorder.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

کیا اب (ایمان لایا ہے)! جبکہ اس سے پہلے تُو نافرمانی سے کام لیتا رہا اور تُو مفسدوں میں سے تھا۔

French

Allāh dit : « Comment ! Maintenant ? Alors qu’avant ceci tu as été désobéissant et tu étais du nombre de ceux qui créent le désordre !

German

Wie! Jetzt! Während du zuvor ungehorsam warst und warst einer derer, die Unordnung stiften.

(我说): [c]“你现在 (才归信)? 你以前违背了, 而且是作乱的人。

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

(ہم نے کہا) کیا (تو) اب (ایمان لاتا ہے) حالانکہ پہلے تو نے نافرمانی کی۔ اور تو مفسدوں میں سے تھا۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

[a]What! Now! while thou wast disobedient before this and wast of the mischief-makers.

10:52.

[a]What! Now! while thou wast disobedient before this and wast of those who create disorder.[1364]

10:52.

Commentary:

The eloquent words, What! Now!, show that it is only in specified circumstances that faith proves to be of any avail. When truth becomes quite clear and there remains no doubt or ambiguity about it, faith loses all value. In fact, it is only effort and sacrifice that make a person deserving of reward, and where these are absent, man forfeits all title to it.

(جواب دیا گیا) “اب ایمان لاتا ہے! حالانکہ اِس سے پہلے تک تو نافرمانی کرتا رہا اور فساد برپا کرنے والوں میں سے تھا

Now? And you had disobeyed [Him] before and were of the corrupters?

اب یہ کہتا ہے اورتو اس سے پہلے نافرمانی کرتا رہا اور مفسدوں میں داخل رہا
