How to get the most out of inQuran

Smart Search

inQuran uses advanced semantic search to understand the meaning of your query, not just the keywords.

  • Natural Language: Ask questions like "What does the Quran say about patience?" or "Stories of Prophet Musa".
  • Keywords: Search for specific words like "Zakat", "Jannah", or "Fasting".
  • Multi-Language: Select multiple languages (e.g., English + Urdu) to search across translations simultaneously.
  • Smart Suggestions: Get real-time suggestions for Topics and Verses as you type.
  • Arabic: You can search in Arabic or transliteration.

💡 Pro Tip

Use the Advanced Options toggle on the home page to filter your search by Translations, Notes, or Topics.

Discovery Features

Sometimes you don't have a specific query in mind. inQuran offers tools to help you discover new verses.

  • I'm Feeling Lucky: Click this button on the home page to be taken to a completely random chapter of the Quran. It's a great way to start your daily reading or discover something new.
  • Explore Topics: Use the "Explore" widget on the home page to see random topics or browse the full index.

Topic Explorer

The Quran covers a vast array of subjects. Our Topic Explorer helps you navigate them hierarchically.

  • Hierarchy: Topics are organized in a tree structure. For example, Guidance > Prayer.
  • Navigation: Click on any topic tag in the search results to see all verses related to that topic.
  • Subtopics: On a topic page, explore specific sub-themes to narrow down your study.

Juz (Parts) Navigation

Read the Quran divided into 30 equal parts (Juz), ideal for daily reading schedules like in Ramadan.

  • Juz Index: Access the full list of 30 Juz from the home page footer or navigation menu.
  • Ruku Markers: Visual indicators (ع) show the start of each Ruku (section) to help track your progress.
  • Sequential Reading: Easily navigate to the next or previous Juz with dedicated buttons.

Reading & Study

Customize your reading experience to suit your needs.

  • Aspects: Use the sidebar to toggle different translations, commentaries, and the original Arabic text.
  • Cross-References: Discover connections between verses through our extensive cross-reference system.
  • Deep Dive: Click on verse numbers to view detailed analysis, including root words and grammar.
