English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
“And I say not to you, ‘I possess the treasures of Allah,’ nor do I know the unseen, nor say I, ‘I am an angel.’ Nor say I concerning those whom your eyes despise, ‘Allah will not bestow any good upon them’ — Allah knows best whatever is in their minds — Surely, I should then be of the unjust.”
English - Five Volume Translation
And [a]I say not to you, ‘I possess the treasures of Allah,’ nor do I know the unseen, nor say I, ‘I am an angel.’ Nor say I concerning those whom your eyes despise, ‘Allah will not bestow any good upon them’—Allah knows best whatever is in their minds—Surely, I should then be of the unjust.”[1413]
English - Short Commentary Translation
‘And [b]I do not say to you, I possess the treasures of Allah nor do I know the unseen,’ nor do I say, ‘I am an angel.’ Nor do I say concerning those whom your eyes despise, ‘Allah will not bestow any good upon them’—Allah knows best whatever is in their minds. Surely, in that case I should be of the unjust.’
