فَٱدْخُلُوٓا۟ أَبْوَٰبَ جَهَنَّمَ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا ۖ فَلَبِئْسَ مَثْوَى ٱلْمُتَكَبِّرِينَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

So enter the gates of Hell, to abide therein. Evil indeed is the abode of the proud.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

پس جہنم کے دروازوں میں داخل ہو جاؤ لمبا عرصہ اُس میں رہتے چلے جاؤ، پس تکبر کرنے والوں کا ٹھکانہ یقیناً بہت برا ہے۔

French

Entrez donc par les portes de l’Enfer, pour y demeurer longtemps. L’habitation des orgueilleux est vraiment mauvaise. »

So tretet ein in die Tore der Hölle, darin zu wohnen. Schlimm ist fürwahr die Wohnstatt der Hoffärtigen.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اس لئے (اب) تم جہنم کے دروازوں میں سے اس میں ہمیشہ کے لئے ٹھکانا بناتے ہوئے داخل ہو جاؤ۔ کیونکہ تکبر کرنے والوں کا ٹھکانا بہت ہی برا (ہوتا) ہے۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

[a]‘So enter the gates of Hell, to abide therein. Evil indeed is the abode of the arrogant.’

39:73; 40:77.

English - Five Volume Translation

[c]So enter the gates of Hell, to abide therein. Evil indeed is the abode of the proud.[1831]

39:73; 40:77.

Commentary:

The verse means to say that those proud people who know and understand truth but who on account of perverseness or pride do not submit to Divine Messengers and accept their message will receive a heavier punishment than those who err through carelessness or ignorance.

اب جاؤ، جہنم کے دروازوں میں گھس جاؤ وہیں تم کو ہمیشہ رہنا ہے" پس حقیقت یہ ہے کہ بڑا ہی برا ٹھکانہ ہے متکبروں کے لیے

So enter the gates of Hell to abide eternally therein, and how wretched is the residence of the arrogant.

سو دوزخ کے دروازوں میں داخل ہو جاؤ اس میں ہمیشہ رہو پس متکبرین کا کیا ہی برا ٹھکانہ ہے
