وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُۥٓ إِسْحَٰقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ نَافِلَةً ۖ وَكُلًّا جَعَلْنَا صَٰلِحِينَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

And We bestowed upon him Isaac, and as a grandson, Jacob, and We made all of them righteous.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اور اُسے ہم نے اسحاق عطا کیا اور پوتے کے طور پر یعقوب۔ اور سب کو ہم نے پاکباز بنایا تھا۔

French

Et Nous lui donnâmes Isaac, et comme petit-fils, Jacob, et Nous les fîmes des gens justes.

German

Und Wir schenkten ihm Isaak und als Sohnessohn Jakob, und Wir machten sie alle rechtschaffen.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اور ہم نے اسے اسحاق بھی بخشا اور یعقوب بھی بطور پوتے کے (دیا) اور ہم نے سب کو نیک بنایا۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

[b]And We bestowed upon him Isaac, and a grandson, Jacob, and We made all of them righteous.

Commentary:

Ishmael, the eldest son of Abraham has not been mentioned here. He has been mentioned separately in v. 86 below on account of his being the head of a distinct and more important line.

اور ہم نے اسے اسحاقؑ عطا کیا اور یعقوبؑ اس پر مزید، اور ہر ایک کو صالح بنایا

And We gave him Isaac and Jacob in addition, and all [of them] We made righteous.

اور ہم نے اسے اسحاق بخشا اور انعام میں یعقوب دیا اور سب کونیک بخت کیا
