وَإِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَايَٰتُنَا بَيِّنَٰتٍ تَعْرِفُ فِى وُجُوهِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ ٱلْمُنكَرَ ۖ يَكَادُونَ يَسْطُونَ بِٱلَّذِينَ يَتْلُونَ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَايَٰتِنَا ۗ قُلْ أَفَأُنَبِّئُكُم بِشَرٍّ مِّن ذَٰلِكُمُ ۗ ٱلنَّارُ وَعَدَهَا ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ ۖ وَبِئْسَ ٱلْمَصِيرُ

Disbelief (Kufr) / Punishment Of AIdolators / Pagans, (Mushrikin) / Punishment ForPromise / To Disbelievers, To Hypocrites

And when Our clear Signs are recited unto them, thou wilt notice a denial on the faces of those who disbelieve. They would well-nigh attack those who recite Our Signs to them. Say, ‘Shall I tell you of something worse than that? It is the Fire! Allah has promised it to those who disbelieve. And a vile destination it is!’
English - Five Volume Translation
[c]And when Our clear Signs are recited unto them, thou wilt notice a denial on the faces of those who disbelieve. They would well-nigh attack those who recite Our Signs to them. Say, [d]‘Shall I tell you of something worse than that? It is the Fire! Allah has promised it to those who disbelieve. And a vile destination it is!’[2501]
English - Short Commentary Translation
[d]And when Our clear Signs are recited unto them, thou seest on the faces of those, who disbelieve, manifest signs of displeasure. They would well-nigh attack those who recite Our Signs to them. Say, [a]‘Shall I tell you of something worse than that? It is the Fire! Allah has promised it to those who disbelieve. And an evil destination it is!’
