فَإِنَّهُمْ عَدُوٌّ لِّىٓ إِلَّا رَبَّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ

‘They are all enemies to me, except the Lord of the worlds;

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

پس یقیناً یہ (تمام) میرے دشمن ہیں سوائے ربّ العالمین کے۔

Ces dieux-là, ils sont tous mes ennemis ; sauf le Seigneur des mondes,

Sie sind mir feind; nicht so der Herr der Welten,

“除了所有世界的养主之外, 他们都是我的敌人。

Italian

Essi mi sono tutti nemici, salvo il Signore dei mondi,

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

وہ سب کے سب رب العالمین کے سوا میری تباہی چاہتے ہیں۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

‘They are all enemies to me but it is the Lord of the worlds,’

English - Five Volume Translation

They are all enemies to me, except the Lord of the worlds; [2751]

Commentary:

In this verse Abraham, quite convincingly, exposes the futility of the idolatrous ideas and practices of his people. He tells them that he is carrying on a vigorous campaign against idols and because of it they must be his enemies. So he challenges them to do their worst against him. In this way Abraham sought to bring home to his people the utter helplessness of their idols and the futility of worshipping them.
