وَلُوطًا إِذْ قَالَ لِقَوْمِهِۦٓ أَتَأْتُونَ ٱلْفَٰحِشَةَ وَأَنتُمْ تُبْصِرُونَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

And remember Lot, when he said to his people, ‘Do you commit abomination while you see the evil thereof ?

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اور لوط کو بھی (نجات دی) جب اس نے اپنی قوم سے کہا کہ کیا تم بے حیائی کے مرتکب ہوتے ہو؟ جبکہ تم اچھی طرح سمجھ رہے ہو (کہ کیا کرتے ہو)۔

French

Et Nous envoyâmes Lot en tant que Messager, lorsqu’il dit à son peuple : « Commettez-vous l’indécence alors que vous en voyez le mal clairement ?

Und (gedenke) Lots, da er zu seinem Volke sprach: "Wollt ihr geflissentlich Schändlichkeit begehen?

[c](我把) 鲁特 (做为使者派遣到他的族人那里去)。当他对他的族人说: “你们怎么明知故犯地做着丑恶的事呢?

E ricordati di Lot, quando disse al suo popolo: «Commettete questa abominazione, pur avendo occhi per vedere?

Acuérdate de Lot, cuando dijo a su pueblo: “¿Seguís cometiendo abominaciones aunque veis su maldad?

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اور (ہم نے) لوط کو (بھی رسول بنا کر بھیجا) جبکہ اس نے اپنی قوم سے کہا کیا تم بدیاں کرتے ہوں اور تم دیکھ رہے ہوتے ہو۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

[a]And We sent Lot as a Messenger, when he said to his people, “Do you commit abomination while you see?[2179A]

7:81; 29:29.

The words may also mean, with your eyes open.

[a]And We sent Lot, as a Messenger, when he said to his people, ‘Do you commit abomination while you see the evil thereof?

اور لوطؑ کو ہم نے بھیجا یاد کرو وہ وقت جب اس نے اپنی قوم سے کہا "کیا تم آنکھوں دیکھتے بدکاری کرتے ہو؟

And [mention] Lot, when he said to his people, "Do you commit immorality while you are seeing?

اورلوط کو جب اس نے اپنی قوم کو کہا کیا تم بے حیائی کرتے ہو حالانکہ تم سمجھ دا ر ہو
