28:14

فَرَدَدۡنٰہُ اِلٰۤی اُمِّہٖ کَیۡ تَقَرَّ عَیۡنُہَا وَلَا تَحۡزَنَ وَلِتَعۡلَمَ اَنَّ وَعۡدَ اللّٰہِ حَقٌّ وَّلٰکِنَّ اَکۡثَرَہُمۡ لَا یَعۡلَمُوۡنَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

Thus did We restore him to his mother that her eye might be gladdened and that she might not grieve, and that she might know that the promise of Allah is true. But most of them know not.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

پس ہم نے اُسے اس کی ماں کی طرف لَوٹا دیا تاکہ اس کی آنکھیں ٹھنڈی ہو جائیں اور وہ غم نہ کرے اور تاکہ وہ جان لے کہ اللہ کا وعدہ سچا ہے لیکن اُن میں سے اکثر نہیں جانتے تھے۔

French

C’est ainsi que Nous l’avions rendu à sa mère afin que ses yeux se réjouissent, et qu’elle ne se désolât point, et qu’elle sût que la promesse d’Allāh est vraie. Mais la plupart d’entre eux ne savent pas.

German

So gaben Wir ihn seiner Mutter zurück, damit ihr Auge gekühlt werde und damit sie sich nicht gräme und damit sie wisse, dass Allahs Verheißung wahr ist. Jedoch die meisten von ihnen wissen es nicht.

我这样把他送还他的母亲, 以便她得到欣慰, 不再忧愁, 而且知道安拉的许约是一定要实现的。可是他们大多数人都不知道。

Italian

Così Noi lo restituimmo a sua madre, perché i suoi occhi potessero rallegrarsi, ed essa non si affliggesse, e si rendesse conto che la promessa di Allah è verace. Ma la maggior parte della gente non sa.

Spanish

Así lo devolvimos a su madre para delicia de su vista, para que no se afligiera y supiera que la promesa de Al‑lah es verdadera. Pero la mayoría de ellos lo desconocen.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اس طرح ہم نے اس کو اس کی ماں کی طرف لوٹا دیا تاکہ اس کی آنکھیں ٹھنڈی ہوں اور وہ غم نہ کرے اور جان لے کہ اللہ کا وعدہ پورا ہوکر رہتا ہے لیکن (منکروں میں سے) اکثر جانتے نہیں۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

Thus We restored him to his mother that her eye might be gladdened and that she might not grieve, and that she might know that the promise of Allah is true. But most of people know not.

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

اس طرح ہم موسیٰؑ کو اس کی ماں کے پاس پلٹا لائے تاکہ اس کی آنکھیں ٹھنڈی ہوں اور وہ غمگین نہ ہو اور جان لے کہ اللہ کا وعدہ سچا تھا، مگر اکثر لوگ اس بات کو نہیں جانتے

English - Sahih

So We restored him to his mother that she might be content and not grieve and that she would know that the promise of Allah is true. But most of the people do not know.

پھر ہم نے اسے اس کی ماں کے پا س پہنچا دیا تاکہ ا س کی آنکھیں ٹھنڈی رہیں اور غمگین نہ ہو اور جان لے کہ الله کا وعدہ سچا ہے لیکن اکثر آدمی نہیں جانتے

English - Talal Itani

So We restored him to his mother that might be comforted her eye, and not she may grieve and that she would know, that the Promise of Allah (is) true. But most of them (do) not know.
