وَلَقَدْ ءَاتَيْنَا مُوسَى ٱلْكِتَٰبَ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَآ أَهْلَكْنَا ٱلْقُرُونَ ٱلْأُولَىٰ بَصَآئِرَ لِلنَّاسِ وَهُدًى وَرَحْمَةً لَّعَلَّهُمْ يَتَذَكَّرُونَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
And We gave the Book to Moses, after We had destroyed the earlier generations, as a source of enlightenment for men, and a guidance and a mercy, that they might reflect.
