35:6

یٰۤاَیُّہَا النَّاسُ اِنَّ وَعۡدَ اللّٰہِ حَقٌّ ۖ فَلَا تَغُرَّنَّکُمُ الۡحَیٰوۃُ الدُّنۡیَا ۖ وَلَا یَغُرَّنَّکُمۡ بِاللّٰہِ الۡغَرُوۡرُ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

O ye men, assuredly the promise of Allah is true, so let not the present life deceive you, nor let the Deceiver deceive you with respect to Allah.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اے لوگو ! اللہ کا وعدہ یقیناً سچا ہے۔ پس تمہیں دنیا کی زندگی ہرگز کسی دھوکہ میں نہ ڈالے اور اللہ کے بارہ میں تمہیں سخت فریبی (یعنی شیطان) ہرگز فریب نہ دے سکے۔

French

Ô hommes, assurément la promesse d’Allāh est vraie. Que la vie de ce monde ne vous trompe donc pas, et que le Trompeur ne vous trompe pas au sujet d’Allāh.

German

O ihr Menschen, wahrlich, die Verheißung Allahs ist wahr, darum lasst das Leben hienieden euch nicht betrügen, und lasst euch nicht vom Betrüger über Allah betören.

Chinese

人们啊! 安拉的许约确是真实的。所以不要让今世的生活欺骗你们, 也不要让欺骗者关于安拉欺骗你们。

Italian

O uomini, certamente la promessa di Allah è vera; non lasciate dunque che la vita presente vi inganni, né permettete che l'ingannatore vi inganni per quanto concerne Allah.

Spanish

Oh, humanos, ciertamente la promesa de Al‑lah es verdadera, no dejéis, pues, que la vida actual os engañe, ni que el Engañador os engañe respecto a Al‑lah.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اے لوگو! اللہ کا وعدہ یقیناً سچا ہے۔ پس تم کو ورلی زندگی دھوکہ میں نہ ڈالے اور کوئی دھوکہ دینے والا تم کو اللہ کے بارہ میں دھوکہ نہ دے۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

O ye men, assuredly the promise of Allah is true, so let not the present life deceive you, nor let the Deceiver deceive you with respect to Allah.

English - Five Volume Translation

O ye men, assuredly the promise of Allah is true, so let not the present life deceive you, nor let the Deceiver deceive you with respect to Allah.[3180]

Commentary:

It is really love of the world that leads man to sin. This is why "the present life" has been mentioned in the verse before the mention of "the Deceiver" who is Satan. This shows that it is man himself who first becomes mentally corrupt and then Satan comes to deceive and lead him astray.

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

لوگو، اللہ کا وعدہ یقیناً برحق ہے، لہٰذا دنیا کی زندگی تمہیں دھوکے میں نہ ڈالے اور نہ وہ بڑا دھوکے باز تمہیں اللہ کے بارے میں دھوکہ دینے پائے

English - Sahih

O mankind, indeed the promise of Allah is truth, so let not the worldly life delude you and be not deceived about Allah by the Deceiver.

اردو ترجمہ احمد علی

اے لوگو بے شک الله کا وعدہ سچا ہے پھر تمہیں دنیا کی زندگی دھوکے میں نہ ڈالے اور تمہیں الله کے بارے میں دھوکہ باز دھوکا نہ دے

English - Talal Itani

O mankind! Indeed, (the) promise (of) Allah (is) true. So (let) not deceive you the life (of) the world, and (let) not deceive you about Allah the Deceiver.

O men, God's promise is true; so let not the present life delude you, and let not the Deluder delude you concerning God.

O people, assuredly Allah's promise is true. So let the life of the world not delude you, and let not the Deluder delude you concerning Allah.

O you people, the promise of God is true. So do not let the life of this world delude you, nor let that (arch) deceiver deceive you about God.
