37:36

إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوٓا۟ إِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

For when it was said to them, ‘There is no God but Allah,’ they turned away with disdain,

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

یقیناً وہ ایسے تھے کہ جب انہیں کہا جاتا تھا کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں تو وہ استکبار کرتے تھے۔

French

Car lorsqu’il leur fut dit : « Il n’y a de dieu qu’Allāh, » ils se détournèrent avec arrogance,

denn da zu ihnen gesprochen ward: "Es gibt keinen Gott außer Allah", da wandten sie sich verächtlich ab

因为每当有人对他们说: “除开安拉, 没有值得崇拜的,” 他们就常骄傲自大,

Poiché, quando fu detto loro: «Non c'è Dio all'infuori di Allah», essi si voltarono con sdegno

Pues cuando se les dijo: “No hay Dios sino Al‑lah”, se alejaron con desdén,

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

جب کبھی ان سے یہ کہا جاتا تھا کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں تو وہ تکبر کیا کرتے تھے۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

For when it was said to them, ‘There is no god but Allah,’ they behaved arrogantly,

For when it was said to them, ‘There is no god but Allah,’ they turned away with disdain,

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

یہ وہ لوگ تھے کہ جب ان سے کہا جاتا "اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود بر حق نہیں ہے" تو یہ گھمنڈ میں آ جاتے تھے
