40:41

مَنۡ عَمِلَ سَیِّئَۃً فَلَا یُجۡزٰۤی اِلَّا مِثۡلَہَا ۖ وَمَنۡ عَمِلَ صٰلِحًا مِّنۡ ذَکَرٍ اَوۡ اُنۡثٰی وَہُوَ مُؤۡمِنٌ فَاُولٰٓئِکَ یَدۡخُلُوۡنَ الۡجَنَّۃَ یُرۡزَقُوۡنَ فِیۡہَا بِغَیۡرِ حِسَابٍ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

‘Whoso does evil will be requited only with the like of it; but whoso does good, whether male or female, and is a believer — these will enter the Garden; they will be provided therein without measure.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

جو بھی برائی کرے گا اسے سزا نہیں دی جائے گی مگر اُسی کے برابر۔ اور مرد اور عورت میں سے جو بھی نیکی کرے گا اور وہ مومن ہوگا پس یہی وہ لوگ ہیں جو جنت میں داخل ہوں گے۔ اس میں انہیں بے حساب رزق عطا کیا جائے گا۔

French

Quiconque fait un mal ne sera payé qu’avec son équivalent ; mais quiconque fait un bien, qu’il soit homme ou femme, et est croyant – ceux-là entreront dans le Jardin où ils recevront une provision sans compter.

German

Wer Böses tut, dem soll nur mit Gleichem vergolten werden; wer aber Gutes tut – sei es Mann oder Weib – und gläubig ist, diese werden in den Garten eintreten; darin werden sie versorgt werden mit Unterhalt ohne Aufrechnung.

Chinese

[a]凡做恶者将得其恶的同样恶报; [b]凡行善者, 不论男女, 只要具有信仰, 都将进入天园, 他们在那里将受赐无数的供养;[1164]

4:125.

对不信的人的恶事, 看它们的大小而给予他们相应的恶报, 但对信者善行的酬报却是无可限量的。这就是伊斯兰教对天园和火狱的概念。

Italian

Chiunque faccia il male, sarà retribuito con la stessa moneta; ma chi fa il bene, sia uomo o donna, ed è un credente, costoro entreranno nel paradiso, dove sarà dato loro ogni bene, senza misura.

Spanish

“Quien hace el mal será pagado únicamente con algo similar; pero quien hace el bien, sea hombre o mujer, y crea, éstos entrarán en el Jardín; en él se les proporcionará sin medida”.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

جو بُرا عمل کرے گا۔ اس کو اسی کے مطابق نتیجہ ملے گا اور جو کوئی ایمان کے مطابق عمل کرے گا خواہ مرد ہو یا عورت‘ بشرطیکہ وہ ایمان میں سچا ہو وہ اور اس کے ہم مشرب لوگ جنّت میں داخل ہوں گے اور ان کو اس میں بغیر حساب کے انعام دیا جائے گا۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

[d]‘Whoso does evil will be requited only with the like of it; [e]but whoso does good, whether male or female, and is a believer—these will enter the Garden; they will be provided therein without measure;[2608]

10:28; 4:124.

4:125.

Whereas the requital of the evil deeds of disbelievers will be proportionate to their deeds, the reward of the good deeds of believers will be without limit or measure. This is the Islamic conception of Heaven and Hell.

Commentary:

The verse shows that whereas the requital of the evil deeds of disbelievers is proportionate to their deeds, the reward of the good deeds of believers is without limit or measure. This is the Islamic concept of Heaven and Hell, and what a beautiful concept it is!

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

جو برائی کرے گا اُس کو اتنا ہی بدلہ ملے گا جتنی اُس نے برائی کی ہو گی اور جو نیک عمل کرے گا، خواہ وہ مرد ہو یا عورت، بشرطیکہ ہو وہ مومن، ایسے سب لوگ جنت میں داخل ہوں گے جہاں اُن کو بے حساب رزق دیا جائے گا

English - Sahih

Whoever does an evil deed will not be recompensed except by the like thereof; but whoever does righteousness, whether male or female, while he is a believer - those will enter Paradise, being given provision therein without account.

جس نے برا کام کیا تو اتنی ہی سزا پائے گا اور جس نے نیک کام کیا خواہ وہ مرد ہو یا عورت اور وہ ایمانداربھی ہو سو وہ جنت میں داخل ہوں گے جہاں انہیں بے حساب روزی ملے گی

English - Talal Itani

Whoever does an evil then not he will be recompensed but (the) like thereof; and whoever does righteous (deeds), of male or female, while he (is) a believer, then those will enter Paradise, they will be given provision in it without account.

Whosoever does an evil deed shall be recompensed only with the like of it, but whosoever does a righteous deed, be it male or female, believing -- those shall enter Paradise, therein provided without reckoning.
