هُوَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِى لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۖ عَٰلِمُ ٱلْغَيْبِ وَٱلشَّهَٰدَةِ ۖ هُوَ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

He is Allah, and there is no God beside Him, the Knower of the unseen and the seen. He is the Gracious, the Merciful.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

وہی اللہ ہے جس کے سوا اور کوئی معبود نہیں۔ غیب کا جاننے والا ہے اور حاضر کا بھی۔ وہی ہے جو بِن مانگے دینے والا، بے انتہا رحم کرنے والا (اور) بار بار رحم کرنے والا ہے۔

French

Il est Allāh ; nul n’est digne d’adoration excepté Lui, Celui Qui connaît l’invisible et le visible. Il est le Gracieux, le Miséricordieux.

German

Er ist Allah, außer Dem es keinen Gott gibt, der Wisser des Ungesehenen und des Sichtbaren. Er ist der Gnädige, der Barmherzige.

Chinese

他是安拉, 除他之外, 再无值得崇拜的, [a]他全知看不见的和看得见的。他是无限博爱的, 永久仁慈的。

Egli è Allah, e non c'è nessuno degno di adorazione all'infuori di Lui, il Conoscitore dell'invisibile e del visibile. Egli è il Clemente, il Misericordioso.

Él es Al-lah, y no hay nadie digno de ser adorado más que Él, el Conocedor de lo invisible y de lo visible. Él es el Clemente, el Misericordioso.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اللہ ہی ہے جس کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں۔ وہ غائب اور حاضر کو جانتا ہے وہی بے انتہا کرم کرنے والا (خدا) ہے (اور وہی) باربار رحم کرنے والا (خدا) ہے۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

He is Allah, and there is no god beside Him, [c]the Knower of the unseen and the seen. He is the Gracious, the Merciful.

English - Five Volume Translation

He is Allah, and there is no God beside Him, the Knower of the unseen and the seen.[a] He is the Gracious, the Merciful.[4207]

Commentary:

The verse means that the Quran, before whose powerful Message even tall and firm mountains would crumble and fall, has been revealed by God Whose attributes are inimitable and matchless. He knows everything and nothing is hidden from Him. He provides his creatures, out of His bountiful grace and mercy, and not in return for anything done by them, all the means of their development and progress even before they are born.

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

وہ اللہ ہی ہے جس کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں، غائب اور ظاہر ہر چیز کا جاننے والا، وہی رحمٰن اور رحیم ہے

English - Sahih

He is Allah, other than whom there is no deity, Knower of the unseen and the witnessed. He is the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

اردو ترجمہ احمد علی

وہی الله ہے کہ اس کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں سب چھپی اور کھلی باتوں کا جاننے والا ہے وہ بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم والا ہے

English - Talal Itani

He (is) Allah, the One Who, (there is) no god but He, (the) All-Knower (of) the unseen and the witnessed. He (is) the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
