وَقَالُوٓا۟ إِنْ هِىَ إِلَّا حَيَاتُنَا ٱلدُّنْيَا وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمَبْعُوثِينَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

And they say, ‘There is nothing except this our present life, and we shall not be raised again.’

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اور وہ کہتے تھے کہ یہ (زندگی) ہماری دنیا کی زندگی کے سوا کچھ نہیں اور ہم کبھی اُٹھائے نہیں جائیں گے۔

French

Et ils disent : « Il n’existe rien en dehors de notre vie d’ici-bas ; et nous ne serons pas ressuscités. »

German

Sie sagen: "Es gibt kein anderes als unser irdisches Leben, und wir werden nicht wiedererweckt werden."

Chinese

他们说: [a]“除了我们今世的生命以外, 再没有任何生命, 我们也将不再复生。”

Spanish

Dicen: “No existe nada excepto nuestra vida presente, y no seremos resucitados”.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اور وہ کہتے ہیں کہ ہماری (اس) ورلی زندگی کے سوا کوئی (اور زندگی) نہیںہے اور نہ ہمیں اٹھایا جائے گا۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

And they say, [c]‘There is nothing except this our present life, and we shall not be raised again.’

23:38; 44:36; 45:25.

English - Five Volume Translation

And they say, [a]‘There is nothing except this our present life, and we shall not be raised again.’[777]

23:38; 44:36; 45:25.

Commentary:

The things of this world and the enjoyments of the present life are, in the sight of most men, so engrossing that they never pause to think of death or of the Hereafter. Would that man could realize the object of his creation and see the everlasting life beyond the grave!

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

آج یہ لوگ کہتے ہیں کہ زندگی جو کچھ بھی ہے بس یہی دنیا کی زندگی ہے اور ہم مرنے کے بعد ہرگز دوبارہ نہ اٹھائے جائیں گے

English - Sahih

And they say, "There is none but our worldly life, and we will not be resurrected."

اور کہتےہیں اس دنیا کی زندگی کے سوا ہمارے لیے اور کوئی زندگی نہیں اور ہم اٹھائے نہیں جائیں گے

And they said, "Not it (is) except our life (of) the world and not we (will be) resurrected."
