قُلۡ اِنِّیۡ عَلٰی بَیِّنَۃٍ مِّنۡ رَّبِّیۡ وَکَذَّبۡتُمۡ بِہٖ ۚ مَا عِنۡدِیۡ مَا تَسۡتَعۡجِلُوۡنَ بِہٖۤ ۚ اِنِ الۡحُکۡمُ اِلَّا لِلّٰہِ ۖ یَقُصُّ الۡحَقَّ ۖ وَہُوَ خَیۡرُ الۡفٰصِلِیۡنَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

Say: ‘I take my stand on a clear evidence from my Lord and you reject it. That which you desire to be hastened is not in my power. The decision rests with none but Allah. He explains the truth, and He is Best of judges.’

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

تو کہہ دے کہ میں یقیناً اپنے ربّ کی طرف سے ایک روشن دلیل پر ہوں اور تم اس کو جھٹلا بیٹھے ہو۔ میرے قبضے میں وہ نہیں ہے جس کی تم جلدی کرتے ہو۔فیصلے کا اختیار اللہ کے سوا کسی کو نہیں۔ وہ حق ہی بیان کرتا ہے اور وہ بہترین فیصلہ کرنے والا ہے۔

French

Dis : « Je me fonde sur une preuve claire de la part de mon Seigneur, et vous la traitez de mensonge. Ce que vous voulez hâter n’est pas en mon pouvoir. La décision n’appartient qu’à Allāh. Il explique la vérité et Il est le Meilleur des juges. »

German

Sprich: "Ich habe einen klaren Beweis von meinem Herrn und ihr verwerft ihn. Ich habe nicht bei mir, was ihr beschleunigt zu sehen wünschet. Die Entscheidung liegt bei Allah allein. Er legt die Wahrheit dar, und Er ist der beste Richter."

你 (向他们) 说: [b]“我的立场具有来自我的养主的明证, 而你们拒绝了他 (养主)。我这里没有你们所要急於到来的东西。[c]判决都是在安拉的掌握中。他说明真理, 而且是最好的判决者。”

Di': «La mia posizione deriva dalle prove chiare fornitemi dal mio Signore e voi le respingete. Quello che desiderate affrettare non è in mio potere. La decisione non spetta a nessun altro che ad Allah. Egli spiega la verità, ed Egli è il Migliore dei giudici.»

Diles: “Me apoyo en una prueba clara de mi Señor y osotros la rechazáis. Lo que pretendéis apresurar no está en mi poder. La decisión sólo corresponde a Al-lah. Él explica la verdad y es el Mejor de los Jueces”.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

تو (ان سے) کہدے کہ میں اپنے رب کی طرف سے ایک واضح دلیل پر قائم ہوں اور تم نے اس (رب) کی تکذیب کی ہے جس بات کے متعلق تم جلدی کرتے ہو وہ میرے پاس نہیں ہے فیصلہ تو اللہ کے اختیار میں ہے وہ سچائی بیان کرتا ہے اور وہ فیصلہ کرنے میں سب سے اچھا ہے۔

Commentary:

The verse calls upon the Holy Prophet to say to disbelievers what may be expressed as follows: "You are perversely sticking to your errors while I have clear evidence with me. You say, 'If we are in error, why does not God visit us with punishment?’ You must remember that it does not lie in my power to bring down punishment. It is God alone Who sends down punishment on whomsoever and at whatever time He wills and He is the Best of judges. He will justly decide the matter between you and me."

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

کہو، میں اپنے رب کی طرف سے ایک دلیل روشن پر قائم ہوں اور تم نے اسے جھٹلا دیا ہے، اب میرے اختیار میں وہ چیز ہے نہیں جس کے لیے تم جلدی مچا رہے ہو، فیصلہ کا سارا اختیار اللہ کو ہے، وہی امر حق بیان کرتا ہے اور وہی بہترین فیصلہ کرنے والا ہے

English - Sahih

Say, "Indeed, I am on clear evidence from my Lord, and you have denied it. I do not have that for which you are impatient. The decision is only for Allah. He relates the truth, and He is the best of deciders."

کہہ دو میرے پاس تو میرے رب کی طرف سے ایک دلیل ہے اور تم اس کو جھٹلاتے ہو جس چیز کو تم جلدی چاہتے ہو وہ میرے پاس نہیں ہے الله کے سوا اور کسی کا حکم نہیں ہے وہ حق بیان کرتا ہے اور وہ بہترین فیصلہ کرنے والا ہے

English - Talal Itani

Say, "Indeed, I (am) on clear proof from my Lord, while you deny [with] it. Not I have what you seek to hasten of it. Not (is) the decision except for Allah. He relates the truth, and He (is the) best (of) the Deciders."

Say: 'I stand upon a clear sign from my Lord, and you have cried lies to it. Not with me is that you seek to hasten; the judgment is God's alone. He relates the truth, and He is the Best of deciders.'

Say: 'I take stand upon a clear evidence from my Lord and it is that which you have given the lie to. That which you desire to be hastened is not within my power. Judgement lies with Allah alone. He declares the Truth, and He is the best judge.'
