64:6

اَلَمۡ یَاۡتِکُمۡ نَبَؤُا الَّذِیۡنَ کَفَرُوۡا مِنۡ قَبۡلُ فَذَاقُوۡا وَبَالَ اَمۡرِہِمۡ وَلَہُمۡ عَذَابٌ اَلِیۡمٌ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

Has not the news reached you of those who disbelieved before? So they tasted the evil consequences of their conduct, and they had a painful punishment.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

کیا تم تک ان لوگوں کی خبر نہیں پہنچی جنہوں نے پہلے کفر کیا تھا۔ پس انہوں نے اپنے فیصلے کا وبال چکھ لیا اور ان کےلئے بہت دردناک عذاب (مقدر) ہے۔

French

La nouvelle ne vous est-elle pas parvenue de ceux qui ont refusé de croire auparavant ? Alors ils ont goûté les mauvaises conséquences de leur conduite, et ils ont eu un châtiment douloureux.

German

Ist nicht die Geschichte zu euch gedrungen von denen, die zuvor ungläubig waren? So kosteten sie die bösen Folgen ihres Betragens, und ihnen wird qualvolle Strafe.

Chinese

[a]你们之前的不信者的消息不曾达及你们? 他们尝到自己行为的恶果, 他们将遭受 (安拉) 痛苦的惩罚。

Non vi è giunta la notizia di quelli che non credettero in passato? Essi gustarono le inique conseguenze della loro condotta ed ebbero un castigo doloroso.

¿No os han llegado las noticias de los incrédulos que os precedieron? Así probaron las malvadas consecuencias de su conducta y sufrieron un doloroso castigo.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

کیا تم کو اپنے سے پہلے کافروں کی خبریں نہیں پہنچیں۔ انہوں نے اپنے اعمال کی سزا بھگتی اور ان کے لئے دردناک عذاب (مقدر) ہے۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

[b]Has there not come to you the account of those who disbelieved before? They tasted the evil consequences of their conduct, and for them is decreed painful punishment.

40:22, 23.

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

کیا تمہیں اُن لوگوں کی کوئی خبر نہیں پہنچی جنہوں نے اِس سے پہلے کفر کیا اور پھر اپنی شامت اعمال کا مزہ چکھ لیا؟ اور آگے اُن کے لیے ایک دردناک عذاب ہے

English - Sahih

Has there not come to you the news of those who disbelieved before? So they tasted the bad consequence of their affair, and they will have a painful punishment.

کیا تمہارے ہاں ان کی خبر نہیں پہنچی جو اس ے پہلے منکر ہوئے پس انہوں نے اپنے کام کا وبال چکھا اوران کے لیے دردناک عذاب ہے

Has there not come to you the tidings of those that disbelieved before, then tasted the mischief of their action, and there yet awaits them a painful chastisement?

Has the news of the unbelievers of the past not reached you? (They disbelieved) and then tasted its evil consequence. A grievous chastisement awaits them.
