وَلَقَدْ كَذَّبَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ فَكَيْفَ كَانَ نَكِيرِ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

And indeed those before them also treated My Messengers as liars; then how grievous was My punishment!

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اور یقیناً ان لوگوں نے بھی جھٹلادیا تھا جو اُن سے پہلے تھے۔ پس کیسی سخت تھی میری سزا!

Et en vérité, leurs devanciers ont aussi traité de menteurs Mes Messagers ; alors combien terrible fut Ma réprobation !

Und schon leugneten jene, die vor ihnen waren; wie war dann (die Folge) Meiner Verleugnung!

他们以前的人们确已否认了 (我的使者), 而我的惩戒是怎样的 (悲惨) 啊!

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اور ان سے پہلے لوگوں نے بھی رسولوں کو جھٹلایا تھا۔ پھر (انہوں نے دیکھا یا نہ دیکھا کہ) میرا عذاب کیسا سخت تھا۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

And, indeed, those before them also rejected My Messengers, then how grievous was My punishment!

And indeed those before them also treated My Messengers as liars; then how grievous was My punishment!

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

اِن سے پہلے گزرے ہوئے لوگ جھٹلا چکے ہیں پھر دیکھ لو کہ میری گرفت کیسی سخت تھی

And already had those before them denied, and how [terrible] was My reproach.

اور ان سے پہلے لوگ بھی جھٹلا چکے ہیں پھر ہماری ناراضگی کاکیا نتیجہ ہوا

Those that were before them also cried lies; then how was My horror!
