穆斯林和异教徒之间的战斗一旦开始, 要到邪恶势力接连遭受打击, 而最后彻底被摧毁的时候才会结束。
یعنی مسلمان جب جنگ پر مجبور ہوں گے تو تلوار کو ہاتھ سے نہ رکھیں گے بلکہ حملہ پر حملہ کرتے چلے جائیں گے۔ یہاں تک کہ فاتح ہو جائیں گے۔
Once the fighting starts between Muslims and infidels, it will not cease till the forces of evil are fully and finally crushed as a result of the successive blows they will receive.

الرادفة (that which follows) is derived from ردف which means, it followed or came after. ردفھم الأمر means, the event came upon them suddenly so as to overwhelm them (Lane).
Commentary:
The verse purports to say that once the fighting starts between Muslims and infidels, it will not cease till the forces of evil are fully and finally crushed as the result of successive blows.
