یٰۤاَیُّہَا النَّبِیُّ حَسۡبُکَ اللّٰہُ وَمَنِ اتَّبَعَکَ مِنَ الۡمُؤۡمِنِیۡنَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

O Prophet, Allah is sufficient for thee and for those who follow thee of the believers.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اے نبی! تجھے اللہ کافی ہے اور اُن کو بھی جو مومنوں میں سے تیری پیروی کریں۔

O Prophet, Allah ist deine Genüge und derer unter den Gläubigen, die dir folgen.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اے نبی! اللہ اور وہ مومن جو تیرے تابع ہو گئے ہیں تیرے لئے کافی ہیں (جو مخالف ہیں ان کی پروا نہ کر) ۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

O Prophet, [a]Allah is Sufficient for thee and those who follow thee of the believers.

8:63.

English - Five Volume Translation

O Prophet, [c]Allah is sufficient for thee and for those who follow thee of the believers.[1152]

8:63.

Commentary:

The words من اتبعك (those who follow thee) are grammatically in apposition to the pronoun (thee) in حسبك (sufficient for thee). It is thus wrong to translate the verse as "Allah is sufficient for thee and so are those who follow thee." The sufficing of God relates both to the Prophet and his followers.

اے نبیؐ، تمہارے لیے اور تمہارے پیرو اہلِ ایمان کے لیے تو بس اللہ کافی ہے

English - Sahih

O Prophet, sufficient for you is Allah and for whoever follows you of the believers.

اردو ترجمہ احمد علی

اے نبی! تجھے اور مومنوں کو جو تیرے تابعدار ہیں الله کافی ہے

English - Talal Itani

O Prophet! Sufficient for you (is) Allah and whoever follows you of the believers.
