اَلَّذِیۡنَ یَبۡخَلُوۡنَ وَیَاۡمُرُوۡنَ النَّاسَ بِالۡبُخۡلِ وَیَکۡتُمُوۡنَ مَاۤ اٰتٰٮہُمُ اللّٰہُ مِنۡ فَضۡلِہٖ ۗ وَاَعۡتَدۡنَا لِلۡکٰفِرِیۡنَ عَذَابًا مُّہِیۡنًا
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
Who are niggardly and enjoin people to be niggardly, and conceal that which Allah has given them of His bounty. And We have prepared for the disbelievers an humiliating punishment,
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
(یعنی) وہ لوگ جو (خود بھی) بخل کرتے ہیں اور لوگوں کو بھی بخل کی تعلیم دیتے ہیں۔ اور اُس کو چھپاتے ہیں جو اللہ نے انہیں اپنے فضل سے دیا ہے۔ او ر ہم نے کافروں کے لئے بہت رُسوا کرنے والا عذاب تیار کیا ہے۔

Ceux qui sont avares et encouragent l’avarice chez les autres, et qui dissimulent ce qu’Allāh leur a accordé de Sa munificence – et Nous avons préparé pour les mécréants un châtiment humiliant –

جو (خود بھی) بخل کرتے ہیں اور (دوسرے( لوگوں کو (بھی) بخل کرنے کی ہدایت کرتے ہیں اور جو کچھ اللہ نے اپنے فضل سے انہیں دیا ہے اسے چھپاتے ہیں اور ہم نے کافروں کے لئے ذلیل کرنے والا عذاب تیار کیا ہے۔

Commentary:
Some persons are so niggardly that, far from spending their wealth for the benefit of others, they do not spend it even upon themselves, lest people should come to know of it. These, as it were, conceal Allah’s bounty. They are not only deprived of the rewards and good results of charity but also become guilty of concealing God’s bounty which He has bestowed upon them for the good of mankind. Elsewhere the Quran says: Acknowledge the bounty of thy Lord in word and deed (93:12).

اور ایسے لوگ بھی اللہ کو پسند نہیں ہیں جو کنجوسی کرتے ہیں اور دوسروں کو بھی کنجوسی کی ہدایت کرتے ہیں اور جو کچھ اللہ نے اپنے فضل سے انہیں دیا ہے اسے چھپاتے ہیں ایسے کافر نعمت لوگوں کے لیے ہم نے رسوا کن عذاب مہیا کر رکھا ہے

Commentary:
