مَّا يُقَالُ لَكَ إِلَّا مَا قَدْ قِيلَ لِلرُّسُلِ مِن قَبْلِكَ ۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَذُو مَغْفِرَةٍ وَذُو عِقَابٍ أَلِيمٍ
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
Nothing is said to thee but what was said to the Messengers before thee. Thy Lord is indeed the Master of forgiveness; and also the Master of painful chastisement.
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
تُجھے کچھ نہیں کہا جاتا مگر وہی جو تجھ سے پہلے رسولوں سے کہا گیا۔ یقیناً تیرا ربّ بہت مغفرت والا نیز دردناک عذاب دینے والا ہے۔
French
Rien ne t’est dit que ce qui a été dit aux Messagers qui t’ont devancé. Ton Seigneur est en vérité Maître du pardon, et aussi Maître d’un châtiment douloureux.

Nichts anderes wird dir gesagt, als was schon den Gesandten vor dir gesagt ward. Dein Herr ist fürwahr der Eigner der Verzeihung, aber auch der Eigner schmerzlicher Züchtigung.

凡是人们 (反对你) 所说的, 都是在你之前, 有人对从前使者说过的。[b]你的养主确是 (伟大) 宽恕的主宰, 也是痛苦惩罚的主宰。

تجھ سے صرف وہی باتیں کہی جاتی ہیں۔ جو تجھ سے پہلے رسولوں سے کہی گئی تھیں۔ تیرا رب بڑی بخشش والا ہے اور اس کا عذاب بھی دردناک ہوتا ہے۔
English - Short Commentary Translation
Nothing is said in opposition to thee but what was said to the Messengers before thee. [b]Thy Lord is, indeed, the Master of great forgiveness; and also the Master of painful chastisement.

Commentary:
The verse seeks to comfort the Holy Prophet by telling him that all the Divine Messengers who passed before him were also subjected to the objections that are being levelled against him.
اردو ترجمہ مودودی
اے نبیؐ، تم سے جو کچھ کہا جا رہا ہے اس میں کوئی چیز بھی ایسی نہیں ہے جو تم سے پہلے گزرے ہوئے رسولوں سے نہ کہی جاچکی ہو بے شک تمہارا رب بڑا درگزر کرنے والا ہے، اور اس کے ساتھ بڑی دردناک سزا دینے والا بھی ہے
English - Sahih
Nothing is said to you, [O Muhammad], except what was already said to the messengers before you. Indeed, your Lord is a possessor of forgiveness and a possessor of painful penalty.

آپ سے وہی بات کہی جاتی ہے جو آپ سے پہلے رسولوں سے کہی گئی تھی بے شک آپ کا رب بخشنے والا اور دردناک عذاب دینے والا بھی ہے
