English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

And of the cattle He has created some for burden and some for slaughter. Eat of that which Allah has provided for you, and follow not the footsteps of Satan. Surely, he is to you an open foe.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اور چوپایوں میں سے لادُو اور سواری والے (پیدا کئے)۔ اس میں سے کھاؤ جو اللہ نے تمہیں رزق عطا کیا ہے اور شیطان کے قدموں کی پیروی نہ کرو یقیناً وہ تمہارا کھلا کھلا دشمن ہے۔

French

Et parmi les bestiaux, Il en a créé certains pour être bêtes de somme et d’autres pour être abattus. Nourrissez-vous des aliments qu'Allāh vous a accordés et ne suivez pas les pas de Satan. Il est, assurément, votre ennemi déclaré.

Unter dem Vieh sind Lasttiere und Schlachttiere. Esset von dem, was Allah euch gegeben hat, und folget nicht den Fußstapfen Satans. Wahrlich, er ist euch ein offenkundiger Feind.

Y del ganado, a unos los creó para carga y a otros para el sacrificio. Comed de lo que Al-lah os ha proporcionado, y no sigáis los pasos de Satanás. En verdad, él es vuestro enemigo declarado.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اور چارپایوں میں سے لادو جانور بھی ہیں اور چھوٹے بھی ہیں۔ اللہ نے جو کچھ تمہیں دیا ہے تم اس میں سے کھاؤ اور شیطان کے قدم بقدم نہ چلو‘ وہ یقیناً تمہارا کھلا (کھلا) دشمن ہے۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

And of the cattle He has created some for burden and some for slaughter. Eat of that which Allah has provided for you, and [a]follow not in the footsteps of Satan. Surely, he is to you an open foe.[922]

فرشا (for slaughter) is derived from فرش. They say فرشه i.e. he spread it or expanded it; or he prostrated it; or he threw it down (for slaughter). فرش means, what is spread on the ground, etc.; a plain tract of land; a depressed tract of land; shrubs or small trees; such animals as are fit for slaughter, or such as are thrown down for slaughter (Lane).

پھر وہی ہے جس نے مویشیوں میں سے وہ جانور بھی پیدا کیے جن سے سواری و بار برداری کا کام لیا جاتا ہے اور وہ بھی جو کھانے اور بچھانے کے کام آتے ہیں کھاؤ اُن چیزوں میں سے جو اللہ نے تمہیں بخشی ہیں اور شیطان کی پیرو ی نہ کرو کہ وہ تمہارا کھلا دشمن ہے

English - Sahih

And of the grazing livestock are carriers [of burdens] and those [too] small. Eat of what Allah has provided for you and do not follow the footsteps of Satan. Indeed, he is to you a clear enemy.

اور بوجھ اٹھانے والے مویشی پیدا کیے اور زمین سے لگے ہوئے اور الله کے رزق میں سے کھاؤ اور شیطان کے قدموں پر نہ چلو وہ تمہارا صریح دشمن ہے

And of the cattle (are some for) burden and (some for) meat. Eat of what (has been) provided (to) you (by) Allah, and (do) not follow (the) footsteps (of) Shaitaan. Indeed, he (is) to you an enemy open.

And of the cattle, for burthen and for slaughter, eat of what God has provided you; and follow not the steps of Satan; he is a manifest foe to you.
