7:66

۞ وَإِلَىٰ عَادٍ أَخَاهُمْ هُودًا ۗ قَالَ يَٰقَوْمِ ٱعْبُدُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنْ إِلَٰهٍ غَيْرُهُۥٓ ۚ أَفَلَا تَتَّقُونَ

‘Ad / People Of / Hud(as) Sent To‘Ad / People Of / Story OfHud(as) / Prophet Of (‘Ad)SyriaTaqwa / Fear Of God
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
And unto ‘Ad We sent their brother Hud. He said, ‘O my people, worship Allah; you have no other deity but Him. Will you not then be God-fearing?’
7:67

قَالَ ٱلْمَلَأُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِن قَوْمِهِۦٓ إِنَّا لَنَرَىٰكَ فِى سَفَاهَةٍ وَإِنَّا لَنَظُنُّكَ مِنَ ٱلْكَٰذِبِينَ

Hud(as) / Prophet Of (‘Ad)‘Ad / People Of / Story Of

The disbelieving chiefs of his people said, ‘We surely see thee lost in foolishness, and we surely think thee to be one of the liars.’
7:68

قَالَ يَٰقَوْمِ لَيْسَ بِى سَفَاهَةٌ وَلَٰكِنِّى رَسُولٌ مِّن رَّبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ

‘Ad / People Of / Story OfHud(as) / Prophet Of (‘Ad)
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
He replied, ‘O my people, there is no foolishness in me, but I am a Messenger from the Lord of the worlds.
11:51

وَإِلَىٰ عَادٍ أَخَاهُمْ هُودًا ۚ قَالَ يَٰقَوْمِ ٱعْبُدُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنْ إِلَٰهٍ غَيْرُهُۥٓ ۖ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا مُفْتَرُونَ

‘Ad / People Of / Hud(as) Sent To‘Ad / People Of / Story OfHud(as) / Prophet Of (‘Ad)Hud(as) / Story OfIramMoral Traits / LyingSyria
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
And to ‘Ad We sent their brother Hud. He said, ‘O my people, worship Allah alone. You have no God beside Him. You are but forgers of lies.
26:124

كَذَّبَتْ عَادٌ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ

‘Ad / People Of / Rejected Messengers‘Ad / People Of / Story OfHud(as) / Prophet Of (‘Ad)Hud(as) / Story OfMessengers (Rusul) / Are Mocked, Opposed, Called Liars, Madmen, Sorcerers

The tribe of ‘Ad rejected the Messengers,
26:125

إِذْ قَالَ لَهُمْ أَخُوهُمْ هُودٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ

When their brother Hud said to them, ‘Will you not be righteous?
26:126

إِنِّى لَكُمْ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٌ

‘Surely, I am unto you a Messenger, faithful to my trust.
46:22

۞ وَٱذْكُرْ أَخَا عَادٍ إِذْ أَنذَرَ قَوْمَهُۥ بِٱلْأَحْقَافِ وَقَدْ خَلَتِ ٱلنُّذُرُ مِنۢ بَيْنِ يَدَيْهِ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِۦٓ أَلَّا تَعْبُدُوٓا۟ إِلَّا ٱللَّهَ إِنِّىٓ أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ

‘Ad / People Of / Hud(as) Sent To‘Ad / People Of / Rejected MessengersAhqaf / Sand-HillsHud(as) / Prophet Of (‘Ad)

And make mention of the brother of ‘Ad, when he warned his people among the sand-hills — and Warners there have been before him and after him — saying, ‘Worship none but Allah. I fear for you the punishment of a great day.’
46:23

قَالُوٓا۟ أَجِئْتَنَا لِتَأْفِكَنَا عَنْ ءَالِهَتِنَا فَأْتِنَا بِمَا تَعِدُنَآ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ

Truthful (Sadiq) / If You Are‘Ad / People Of / Rejected MessengersHud(as) / Prophet Of (‘Ad)

They said, ‘Hast thou come to us to turn us away from our gods? Bring us then that with which thou dost threaten us, if indeed thou art of the truthful.’
46:24

قَالَ إِنَّمَا ٱلْعِلْمُ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ وَأُبَلِّغُكُم مَّآ أُرْسِلْتُ بِهِۦ وَلَٰكِنِّىٓ أَرَىٰكُمْ قَوْمًا تَجْهَلُونَ

Convey MessageHud(as) / Prophet Of (‘Ad)
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
He said, ‘The knowledge thereof is only with Allah. And I convey to you what I have been sent with, but I see you to be a very ignorant people.’
