English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
And when I inspired the disciples of Jesus to believe in Me and in My Messenger, they said, ‘We believe and bear Thou witness that we have submitted.’

اور (اس وقت کو یاد کر) جب میں نے (تیرے) حواریوں (یعنی شاگردوں) کو وحی کی کہ مجھ پر اور میرے رسول پر ایمان لاؤ۔ انہوں نے (اس وحی کے جواب میں) کہا کہ ہم ایمان لاتے ہیں اور تو گواہ رہ کہ ہم فرمانبرداروں میں (شامل ہوگئے) ہیں۔

Important Words:
The verb اوحی (inspired) does not always mean verbal revelation. It sometimes simply means to inspire a person with an idea, or to suggest it to him; and it is in this sense that the word is used here. The word has also been used with reference to the bee (16:89).
