قرآن مجید میں ھُنَّ کا لفظ ہے جو جمع مؤنث کے لئے آتا ہے۔ یہ لفظ اس لئے استعمال کیا گیا ہے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ کے سوا جو معبود تھے کفار ان کو عورتیں سمجھتے تھے۔
