اور اگر وہ تجھ سے بحث کریں تو کہہ دے کہ اللہ تمہارے اعمال سے خوب واقف ہے۔
English - Short Commentary Translation
And if they contend withthee, say, ‘Allah knows best what you do;

And if they contend with thee, say, ‘Allah knows best what you do.[2498]
Commentary:
The verse purports to say that if in spite of the fact that Divine Prophets appeared among all nations and the advent of the Holy Prophet was not an innovation and in spite of the irrefutable arguments and innumerable signs that God had shown in his favour, the disbelievers prefer to doubt and dispute the truth of his mission, then let them wait and see what the future has in store for them and what evil consequences their rejection of the truth will lead to.

اور اگر وہ تم سے جھگڑیں تو کہہ دو کہ "جو کچھ تم کر رہے ہو اللہ کو خوب معلوم ہے

And if they dispute with you, then say, "Allah is most knowing of what you do.

Commentary:

پس جب تُو اور وہ جو تیرے ساتھ ہیں کشتی پر قرار پکڑ جائیں تو یہ کہہ کہ سب تعریف اللہ ہی کے لئے ہے جس نے ہمیں ظالم قوم سے نجات بخشی۔

Et quand tu te seras installé sur l’Arche – toi et ceux qui sont avec toi – dis : 'Toutes les louanges appartiennent à Allāh Qui nous a sauvés du peuple injuste !'

Und wenn du dich in der Arche eingerichtet hast – du und die bei dir sind –, dann sprich: "Aller Preis gehört Allah, Der uns errettet hat von dem ruchlosen Volk!"
