۞ وَحَرَّمۡنَا عَلَیۡہِ الۡمَرَاضِعَ مِنۡ قَبۡلُ فَقَالَتۡ ہَلۡ اَدُلُّکُمۡ عَلٰۤی اَہۡلِ بَیۡتٍ یَّکۡفُلُوۡنَہٗ لَکُمۡ وَہُمۡ لَہٗ نٰصِحُوۡنَ
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
And We had already ordained that he shall refuse the wet nurses; so she said, ‘Shall I tell you of a household who will bring him up for you and will be his sincere well-wishers?’
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
اور پہلے ہی سے ہم نے اُس (یعنی موسیٰ) پر دودھ پلانے والیاں حرام کر دی تھیں۔ پس اُس (کی بہن) نے کہا کہ کیا میں تمہیں ایسے گھر والوں کا پتہ دوں جو تمہارے لئے اس کی پرورش کر سکیں اور وہ اس کے خیرخواہ ہوں؟

Et Nous avions déjà décrété qu’il refuserait les nourrices. Alors sa sœur dit : « Vous indiquerai-je une famille qui l’élèvera pour vous et qui sera très bienveillante envers lui ? »

Und vordem hatten Wir ihm die Ammen verboten. Da sprach sie (seine Schwester): "Soll ich euch einen Haushalt nennen, wo man ihn für euch aufziehen und ihm wohlgesinnt sein würde?"

De antemano hicimos que rechazara a las nodrizas; por lo que dijo: “¿Queréis que os indique una familia que lo criará para vosotros y serán sus custodios sinceros?”.
اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
اور ہم نے اس (یعنی موسیٰ) پر اس سے پہلے دودھ پلانے والیوں کو حرام[1] کر دیا۔ پس اس (یعنی موسیٰ کی بہن) نے کہا کہ کیا میں تمہیں ایک ایسے گھر والوں کی خبر دوں جو اس کو تمہارے لئے پال دیں اور وہ اس کے خیر خواہ ثابت ہونگے۔
اس سے معلوم ہوتا ہے کہ موسیٰ علیہ السلام جس ٹوکرے میں تھے وہ بہتا بہتا پہلے کنارہ پر جا لگا تھا اور موسیٰ علیہ السلام کی بہن احتیاط سے بہت آہستہ آہستہ پیچھے رہی تھی۔ اس عرصہ میں فرعون کی بیٹی نے کئی دودھ پلانے والیاں بلا کے انہیں موسیٰ علیہ السلام کو دودھ پلانے کا حکم دیا۔ مگر موسیٰ علیہ السلام نے ان کا دودھ پینے سے انکار کر دیا۔ یہاں تک کہ الٰہی تدبیر کے مطابق وہ اپنی ماں کے پاس لوٹ آئے۔

And We had already decreed that he shall refuse the wet-nurses; so she said, [a]‘Shall I direct you to the people of a household who will bring him up for you and will be his sincere well-wishers?’

اردو ترجمہ مودودی
اور ہم نے بچّے پر پہلے ہی دُودھ پِلانے والیوں کی چھاتیاں حرام کر رکھی تھیں (یہ حالت دیکھ کر) اُس لڑکی نے اُن سے کہا "میں تمہیں ایسے گھر کا پتہ بتاؤں جس کے لوگ اس کی پرورش کا ذمّہ لیں اور خیر خواہی کے ساتھ اسے رکھیں؟"
English - Sahih
And We had prevented from him [all] wet nurses before, so she said, "Shall I direct you to a household that will be responsible for him for you while they are to him [for his upbringing] sincere?"

اور ہم نے پہلے سے اس پر دائیوں کا دودھ حرام کر دیا تھا پھر بولی میں تمہیں ایسے گھر والے بتاؤں جو اس کی تمہارے لیے پرورش کریں اور وہ اس کے خیر خواہ ہوں

اس سے معلوم ہوتا ہے کہ موسیٰ علیہ السلام جس ٹوکرے میں تھے وہ بہتا بہتا پہلے کنارہ پر جا لگا تھا اور موسیٰ علیہ السلام کی بہن احتیاط سے بہت آہستہ آہستہ پیچھے رہی تھی۔ اس عرصہ میں فرعون کی بیٹی نے کئی دودھ پلانے والیاں بلا کے انہیں موسیٰ علیہ السلام کو دودھ پلانے کا حکم دیا۔ مگر موسیٰ علیہ السلام نے ان کا دودھ پینے سے انکار کر دیا۔ یہاں تک کہ الٰہی تدبیر کے مطابق وہ اپنی ماں کے پاس لوٹ آئے۔
