۞ قَدْ يَعْلَمُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْمُعَوِّقِينَ مِنكُمْ وَٱلْقَآئِلِينَ لِإِخْوَٰنِهِمْ هَلُمَّ إِلَيْنَا ۖ وَلَا يَأْتُونَ ٱلْبَأْسَ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
Verily Allah knows those among you who hinder men and those who say to their brethren, ‘Come to us;’ and they come not to the fight but a little,
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
اللہ تم میں سے ان کو خوب جانتا ہے جو (جہاد سے) روکنے والے ہیں اور اپنے بھائیوں سے کہتے ہیں کہ ہماری طرف آجاؤ۔ اور وہ لڑائی کے لئے نہیں آتے مگر بہت کم۔

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
اللہ ان لوگوں کو پوری طرح جانتا ہے جو تم میں سے دوسروں کو (جہاد سے) پیچھے ہٹاتے تھے۔ اور اپنے بھائیوں سے کہتے تھے کہ ہماری طرف آؤ (اور جہاد میں شامل نہ ہو) اور وہ خود بھی دشمن سے بالکل جنگ [4]نہ کرتے تھے۔
یہاں قلیل کا لفظ ہے۔ لیکن ہم پہلے بتا چکے ہیں کہ قلیل کا لفظ عربی میں بالکل نفی کے لئے آتا ہے۔
English - Short Commentary Translation
Verily, Allah knows well those among you who hinder others from fighting and those who say to their brethren, ‘Come and be with us;’ and they themselves come not to the fight but little,

Verily, Allah knows those among you who hinder men and those who say to their brethren, ‘Come to us;’ and they come not to the fight but a little,[3087]
Commentary:
The expression "they come not to the fight but a little," may mean, (a) very few of them take the field on the side of the Muslims; (b) they withdraw after having gone a short distance towards the field of battle, i.e. they take little or no part in the fighting.
