قُلْ بِفَضْلِ ٱللَّهِ وَبِرَحْمَتِهِۦ فَبِذَٰلِكَ فَلْيَفْرَحُوا۟ هُوَ خَيْرٌ مِّمَّا يَجْمَعُونَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

Say, ‘All this is through the grace of Allah and through His mercy; therein, therefore, let them rejoice. That is better than what they hoard.’

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

تُو کہہ دے کہ (یہ) محض اللہ کے فضل اور اس کی رحمت سے ہے۔ پس اس پر چاہئے کہ وہ بہت خوش ہوں۔ وہ اُس سے بہتر ہے جو وہ جمع کرتے ہیں۔

French

Dis : « Tout ceci est par la grâce d’Allāh et par Sa miséricorde ; qu’ils s’en réjouissent donc ! C’est mieux que ce qu’ils amassent. »

German

Sprich: "Durch die Gnade Allahs und durch Seine Barmherzigkeit; hieran denn mögen sie sich freuen. Das ist besser als das, was sie anhäufen."

Chinese

你 (对他们) 说: “(这一切) 都来自安拉的恩惠和仁慈, 因此他们应当高兴。[b]这 (恩赐) 比他们所聚集的 (财富) 好得多。”

43:33.

Italian

Dì': «Tutto questo è per grazia di Allah e attraverso la Sua misericordia. In questo dunque lascia che si rallegrino. Ciò è molto meglio di quanto accumulano.»

Spanish

Diles: “Todo esto es por la gracia de Al-lah y por Su misericordia; que se alegren, pues por ella. Esto es mejor que lo que atesoran”.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

تو ان سے کہہ دے (کہ یہ سب کچھ) اللہ کے فضل اور اس کی رحمت سے (وابستہ) ہے پس اسی پر انہیں خوشی منانا چاہیے جو (مال) وہ جمع کر رہے ہیں اس سے یہ (نعمت کہیں) زیادہ بہتر ہے۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

Say, ‘All this is through the grace of Allah and through His mercy; therein, therefore, let them rejoice. [d]That is better than what they hoard.’

43:33.

English - Five Volume Translation

Say, ‘All this is through the grace of Allah and through His mercy; therein, therefore, let them rejoice. [a]That is better than what they hoard.’[1334]

43:33.

Commentary:

This verse reminds us that the blessings mentioned in the preceding verse can be attained only through the grace and mercy of God, and therefore he who has faith in God should not feel proud of his material resources but should rejoice only in God’s grace and mercy.

The verse also hints that disbelievers foolishly feel proud of what they hoard, viz. their material resources, which are as nothing against God’s grace and mercy or against the great spiritual treasures of the Quran referred to in the preceding verse.

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

اے نبیؐ، کہو کہ “یہ اللہ کا فضل اور اس کی مہربانی ہے کہ یہ چیز اس نے بھیجی، اس پر تو لوگوں کو خوشی منانی چاہیے، یہ اُن سب چیزوں سے بہتر ہے جنہیں لوگ سمیٹ رہے ہیں"

English - Sahih

Say, "In the bounty of Allah and in His mercy - in that let them rejoice; it is better than what they accumulate."

کہہ دو (قرآن) الله کے فضل اور اس کی رحمت سےہے سو اسی پر انہیں خوش ہونا چاہیئے یہ ان چیزوں سے بہتر ہے جو جمع کرتے ہیں
