English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

And if thy Lord had enforced His will, He would have surely made mankind one people; but they would not cease to differ,

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اور اگر تیرا ربّ چاہتا تو لوگوں کو ایک ہی اُمّت بنا دیتا مگر وہ ہمیشہ اختلاف کرتے رہیں گے۔

Et si ton Seigneur avait imposé Sa volonté, Il aurait certainement fait de l’humanité un seul peuple ; mais ils ne cesseront d’être en désaccord,

Und hätte dein Herr Seinen Willen erzwungen, wahrlich, Er hätte die Menschen alle zu einer einzigen Gemeinde gemacht; doch sie wollten nicht ablassen, uneins zu sein;

[e]如果安拉 (强行) 自己的意志, 那么, 他必使整个人类形成一个团体, (因为他未曾这样做, 而让他们运用自己的理智,) 所以他们常有分歧。

Italian

E se il tuo Signore avesse imposto il Suo Volere, Egli di certo avrebbe fatto dell'umanità un solo popolo, ma essi non avrebbero smesso di dissentire,

Spanish

Pues si tu Señor hubiese ejecutado Su voluntad, ciertamente habría convertido a la humanidad en una sola nación; pero no dejarían de discrepar.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اور اگر تیرا رب اپنی ہی مشیت نافذ کرتا تو تمام لوگوں کو ایک ہی جماعت بنا دیتا اور (چونکہ اس نے ایسا نہیں کیا اور انہیں ان کی عقل پر چھوڑ دیا ہے) وہ ہمیشہ اختلاف کرتے رہیں گے۔

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

بے شک تیرا رب اگر چاہتا تو تمام انسانوں کو ایک گروہ بنا سکتا تھا، مگر اب تو وہ مختلف طریقوں ہی پر چلتے رہیں گے

And if your Lord had willed, He could have made mankind one community; but they will not cease to differ.

اور اگر تیرا رب چاہتا تو سب لوگو ں کو ایک رستہ پر ڈال دیتا اور ہمیشہ اختلاف میں رہیں گے
