11:92
قَالُوۡا یٰشُعَیۡبُ مَا نَفۡقَہُ کَثِیۡرًا مِّمَّا تَقُوۡلُ وَاِنَّا لَنَرٰٮکَ فِیۡنَا ضَعِیۡفًا ۖ وَّلَوۡلَا رَہۡطُکَ لَرَجَمۡنٰکَ ۖ وَمَاۤ اَنۡتَ عَلَیۡنَا بِعَزِیۡزٍ
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
They replied, ‘O Shu‘aib, we do not understand much of that which thou sayest, and surely, we see that thou art weak among us. And were it not for thy tribe, we would surely stone thee. And thou holdest no strong position among us.’
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
انہوں نے کہا اے شعیب! تُو جو کہتا ہے اس میں سے بہت سا ہم سمجھ نہیں سکتے جبکہ تجھے ہم اپنے درمیان بہت کمزور دیکھتے ہیں۔ اور اگر تیرا قبیلہ نہ ہوتا تو ہم ضرور تجھے سنگسار کر دیتے اور تو ہمارے مقابل پر کوئی غلبہ نہیں رکھتا۔
French
Ils répondirent : « Ô Shu‘aib, nous ne comprenons pas grand-chose à ce que tu dis, et assurément nous voyons que tu es faible parmi nous. Et n’était-ce ta tribu, nous te lapiderions certainement, alors que tu n’as aucun pouvoir sur nous. »

Sie antworteten: "O Schoäb, wir verstehen nicht viel von dem, was du sprichst, und wir sehen bloß, dass du schwach bist unter uns. Und wäre nicht dein Stamm, wir würden dich steinigen. Und du hast keine starke Stellung unter uns."

他们说: “舒艾布啊! 你所说的话有很多是我们不了解的。[a]我们觉得你在我们中是一个弱者。如果不是你的家族, 我们一定投石击死了你, 你 (个人) 在我们中, 并不是强有力的。”

Ed essi risposero: «O Šu‘ayb, non capiamo molto di quanto hai detto e certamente vediamo che tu fra noi sei debole. E se non fosse per la tua tribù, ti lapideremmo. E tu non hai potere su di noi.»
Spanish
Respondieron: “Oh Shu’aib, no entendemos mucho de lo que dices y en verdad, vemos que eres débil entre nosotros. Si no fuera por tu tribu, ciertamente te lapidaríamos. Pues tú no tienes poder sobre nosotros”.
اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
انہوں نے کہا‘ اے شعیب! جو کچھ تو کہتا ہے اس میں سے بہت سا (حصہ) ہماری سمجھ میں نہیں آتا۔ اور ہم تجھے اپنے درمیان ایک کمزور آدمی سمجھتے ہیں اور اگر تیرا گروہ نہ ہوتا تو ہم تجھے سنگسار کر دیتے اور تو (بذات خود) ہماری نظر میں کوئی قابل عزت وجود نہیں۔
English - Short Commentary Translation
They replied, ‘O Shu‘aib, we do not understand much of what thou sayest, and [b]surely we see that thou art weak among us. And were it not for thy tribe, we would surely stone thee. And thou holdest no strong position among us.’

Important Words:
رھطك (thy tribe). رھط means, a man’s people or tribe consisting of his nearer relations or near kinsfolk; a number of men less than ten among whom there is no woman; or a number from three to ten or from seven to ten. کان فی المدینة تسعة رھط means, there were in the city nine men (Lane).
اردو ترجمہ مودودی
انہوں نے جواب دیا "اے شعیبؑ، تیری بہت سی باتیں تو ہماری سمجھ ہی میں نہیں آتیں اور ہم دیکھتے ہیں کہ تو ہمارے درمیان ایک بے زور آدمی ہے، تیری برادری نہ ہوتی تو ہم کبھی کا تجھے سنگسار کر چکے ہوتے، تیرا بل بوتا تو اتنا نہیں ہے کہ ہم پر بھاری ہو"
English - Sahih
They said, "O Shu'ayb, we do not understand much of what you say, and indeed, we consider you among us as weak. And if not for your family, we would have stoned you [to death]; and you are not to us one respected."

انہوں نے کہا اے شعیب ہم بہت سی باتیں نہیں سمجھتے جو تم کہتے ہو اوربے شک ہم البتہ تمہیں اپنےمیں کمزور پاتے ہیں اور اگر تیری برادری نہ ہوتی تو تجھے ہم سنگسارکردیتے اور ہماری نظر میں تیری کوئی عزت نہیں ہے

They said, "O Shuaib! Not we understand much of what you say, and indeed, we surely [we] see you among us weak. And if not for your family surely we would have stoned you, and you are not against us mighty."

They said, 'Shuaib, we do not understand much of what thou sayest. Truly we see thee weak among us; but for thy tribe we would have stoned thee; for thou art not strong against us.

They said: 'O Shu'ayb! We do not understand much of what you say. Indeed we see you weak in our midst. Were it not for your kinsmen, we would surely have stoned you for you have no strength to overpower us.

They said: "O Shu'aib, much of what you say is meaningless to us, and then (for sure) you are powerless among us. But for your clan we would have stoned you to death. You have no power over us.
