14:49

يَوْمَ تُبَدَّلُ ٱلْأَرْضُ غَيْرَ ٱلْأَرْضِ وَٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتُ ۖ وَبَرَزُوا۟ لِلَّهِ ٱلْوَٰحِدِ ٱلْقَهَّارِ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

On the day when this earth will be changed into another earth, and the heavens too; and they will all appear before Allah, the One, the Most Supreme;

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

جس دن زمین ایک مختلف زمین میں تبدیل کر دی جائے گی اور آسمان بھی اور وہ اللہ واحد و یگانہ، صاحبِ جبروت کے حضور (حاضر ہونے کے لئے) نکل کھڑے ہوں گے۔

French

Au jour où cette terre sera changée en une autre, et les cieux aussi ; et ils paraîtront tous devant Allāh, l’Unique, le Tout-Dominant de par Sa majesté et Sa gloire.

German

Am Tag, da die Erde verwandelt werden wird in eine andere Erde, und auch die Himmel; und sie werden (alle) vor Allah treten, den Einigen, den Höchsten.

Chinese

(那一天一定要到来的,) 在那天, 这天地将变成别的天地[653]; 这些 (人) 将出现在独一无二的、最高主权的安拉面前。

随着麦加的主权的转移以及伊斯兰教作为一种强大力量确立在阿拉伯, 一个新的宇宙, 可以说是, 连同一种新的天地形成了。旧秩序彻底被打垮, 而一种与旧秩序完全不同的新秩序取而代之。

Italian

Nel giorno in cui questa terra sarà mutata in un'altra terra, ed anche il cielo, ed essi compariranno tutti davanti ad Allah, l'Uno, il Supremo.

Spanish

El día en que esta tierra cambie por otra tierra, como también los cielos; y todos comparezcan ante Al-lah, el Único, el Supremo.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

(اور وہ دن ضرور آنے والا ہے) جس دن زمین و آسمان بدل کر دوسرے زمین و آسمان قائم کیے جائیں گے۔ اور یہ (لوگ) اللہ کے سامنے ہوں گے جو واحد (اور ہر ایک چیز پر) کامل غلبہ رکھنے والا ہے۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

On the day when this earth will be changed into another earth, and the heavens too;[1475] and they will all appear before Allah, the One, the Most Supreme.

With the Fall of Mecca and the establishment of Islam in Arabia as a mighty force, a new universe, as it were, came into being with a new heaven and a new earth. The old order was swept away, and a new one, completely different from the old one, took its place.

English - Five Volume Translation

On the day when this earth will be changed into another earth, and the heavens too; and they will all appear before Allah, the One, the Most Supreme;[1703]

Commentary:

The verse speaks of the great Day of Judgement in the next world, when new heavens and a new earth will come into existence. The attributes of "One" and "Supreme" have been mentioned in this verse to point out that on that dreadful day all the false deities of the disbelievers will forsake them and disbelievers will realize that all government rests in God alone.

Incidentally, the verse also shows that the blessings of the next life will be quite different from those of the present life; for, as the verse says, the present earth and the present heavens will be changed into a new earth and new heavens in the next world. If the same or similar earth and heavens were to be created again, in the next world, with the same fruits and the same material boons, where was the need to change the old ones?

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

ڈراؤ اِنہیں اُس دن سے جبکہ زمین اور آسمان بدل کر کچھ سے کچھ کر دیے جائیں گے اور سب کے سب اللہ واحد قہار کے سامنے بے نقاب حاضر ہو جائیں گے

English - Sahih

[It will be] on the Day the earth will be replaced by another earth, and the heavens [as well], and all creatures will come out before Allah, the One, the Prevailing.

جس دن اس زمین میں سے اور زمین بدلی جائے گی اور آسمان بدلے جاویں گے اور سب کے سب ایک زبردست الله کے روبرو پیش ہوں گے

(On the) Day will be changed the earth (to) other (than) the earth, and the heavens, and they will come forth before Allah, the One, the Irresistible.
