20:112

۞ وَعَنَتِ ٱلْوُجُوهُ لِلْحَىِّ ٱلْقَيُّومِ ۖ وَقَدْ خَابَ مَنْ حَمَلَ ظُلْمًا

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

And all faces shall humble themselves before the Living, the Self-Subsisting and All-Sustaining God. And he shall indeed perish who bears the burden of iniquity.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اور چہرے حَیّ و قیّوم کے حضور جھک جائیں گے اور وہ نامراد ہوگا جس نے کوئی ظلم کا بوجھ اٹھایا ہوگا۔

French

Et tous les visages s’humilieront devant le Dieu Vivant, Qui subsiste par Lui-Même et par Qui tout subsiste. Et assurément celui qui porte le fardeau de l’iniquité connaîtra l’échec.

German

Alle Gesichter werden sich demütig neigen vor dem Lebendigen, dem Ewigen, Erhaltenden. Und hoffnungslos fürwahr ist jener, der an Frevel trägt.

(那一天), 所有的领袖都将向永生、自立立他的 (主宰) 表示谦恭。凡是不义者, 都将是损失的人。

Italian

E tutti i volti si umilieranno davanti al Dio Vivente, l'Autosussistente e Che sostiene tutto. E perirà davvero colui che porta il peso dell'iniquità.

Spanish

Todos los rostros se humillarán ante el Dios Vivo, uto-Subsistente y que todo lo sostiene. En verdad perecerá quien lleva la carga de la iniquidad.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اور (اس دن) زندہ اور قائم رہنے اور قائم رکھنے والے (خدا) کے سامنے سب بڑے لوگ (ادب سے) جھک جائیں گے اور جو ظلم کرے گا وہ ناکام رہے گا۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

And all great leaders[1854A] shall humble themselves before the Living, the Self-Subsisting and All-Sustaining God. And he indeed is undone who bears the burden of iniquity.

Wujuh means, great leaders (Aqrab).

English - Five Volume Translation

And all faces shall humble themselves before the Living, the Self-Subsisting and All-Sustaining God. And he shall indeed perish who bears the burden of iniquity.[2321]

Commentary:

The theme of the preceding verses regarding destruction of the power of the great and powerful western nations and their abasement continues in this verse. The verse may also signify that these great nations will humble themselves before God—they will humbly accept God’s true religion—Islam.

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

لوگوں کے سر اُس حیّ و قیّوم کے آگے جھک جائیں گے نامراد ہوگا جو اُس وقت کسی ظلم کا بار گناہ اٹھائے ہوئے ہو

English - Sahih

And [all] faces will be humbled before the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence. And he will have failed who carries injustice.

اردو ترجمہ احمد علی

اور سب منہ حّی و قیوم کے سامنے جھک جائیں گے اور تحقیق نامراد ہوا جس نے ظلم کا بوجھ اٹھایا

And (will be) humbled the faces before the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsisting. And verily will have failed (he) who carried wrongdoing.

And faces shall be humbled unto the Living, the Eternal. He will have failed whose burden is of evildoing;

All faces shall be humbled before the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsisting Lord, and he who bears the burden of iniquity will have failed;

All heads will be bowed before the Living, the Eternal; and whosoever bears a load of iniquity will be full of despair.
