وَکَذٰلِکَ اَنۡزَلۡنٰہُ قُرۡاٰنًا عَرَبِیًّا وَّصَرَّفۡنَا فِیۡہِ مِنَ الۡوَعِیۡدِ لَعَلَّہُمۡ یَتَّقُوۡنَ اَوۡ یُحۡدِثُ لَہُمۡ ذِکۡرًا
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
And thus have We sent it down — the Qur’an in Arabic — and We have explained therein certain warnings, that they may fear God or that it may give birth to divine remembrance in them.
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
اور اسی طرح ہم نے اُسے فصیح و بلیغ قرآن کی صورت میں اتارا ہے اور اُس میں ہر قسم کے وعید بیان کئے ہیں تاکہ ہوسکے تو وہ تقویٰ اختیار کریں یا وہ اُن کے لئے کوئی عبرت کا نشان ظاہر کردے۔
French
Et c’est ainsi que Nous l’avons révélé - le Coran, un livre souvent récité - en arabe – une langue claire et éloquente et Nous y avons expliqué certains avertissements, afin qu’ils craignent Allāh ou qu’il - le Coran - puisse engendrer en eux le souvenir du Divin.

So haben Wir ihn niedergesandt als einen arabischen Qur-ân, und Wir haben darin gewisse Warnungen klar gemacht, auf dass sie Gott fürchten mögen oder dass er in ihnen eine Ermahnung sei.

Così Noi abbiamo rivelato il Corano in arabo, nel quale abbiamo spiegato ogni specie di ammonimento, perché temano Dio ed Esso possa generare in loro un divino ricordo.

Pues así lo revelamos –el Corán en árabe– y hemos explicado en él ciertas advertencias, para que teman a Dios o para que genere en ellos el recuerdo divino.
اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
اور اسی طرح ہم نے اس (کتاب) کو عربی زبان کے قرآن کی صورت میں اتارا ہے اور اس میں ہر قسم کے انذار کو کھول کھول کر بیان کیا ہے تا کہ وہ تقویٰ اختیار کریں یا یہ (قرآن) ان کے لئے (خدا کی) یاد کا سامان (نئے سرے سے) پیدا کرے۔

And thus have [c]We sent it down—the Qur’an in Arabic—and We have explained therein every kind of warning, that they may fear God or that it may cause them to remember Him.

Commentary:
The verse purports to say that if the western nations wish to escape the Divine punishment which they have incurred by their evil deeds, and which is in store for them; they can do so by accepting the message of Islam and by following the Holy Prophet.
اردو ترجمہ مودودی
اور اے محمدؐ، اِسی طرح ہم نے اِسے قرآن عربی بنا کر نازل کیا ہے اور اس میں طرح طرح سے تنبیہات کی ہیں شاید کہ یہ لوگ کج روی سے بچیں یا ان میں کچھ ہوش کے آثار اِس کی بدولت پیدا ہوں
English - Sahih
And thus We have sent it down as an Arabic Qur'an and have diversified therein the warnings that perhaps they will avoid [sin] or it would cause them remembrance.

Even so We have sent it down as an Arabic Koran, and We have turned about in it something of threats, that haply they may be godfearing, or it may arouse in them remembrance.
