14:15

وَلَنُسْكِنَنَّكُمُ ٱلْأَرْضَ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِمْ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ لِمَنْ خَافَ مَقَامِى وَخَافَ وَعِيدِ

‘And We will, surely, make you dwell in the land after them. This is for him who fears to stand before My Tribunal and fears My warning.’
20:114

وَكَذَٰلِكَ أَنزَلْنَٰهُ قُرْءَانًا عَرَبِيًّا وَصَرَّفْنَا فِيهِ مِنَ ٱلْوَعِيدِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَّقُونَ أَوْ يُحْدِثُ لَهُمْ ذِكْرًا

And thus have We sent it down — the Qur’an in Arabic — and We have explained therein certain warnings, that they may fear God or that it may give birth to divine remembrance in them.
50:15

وَأَصْحَٰبُ ٱلْأَيْكَةِ وَقَوْمُ تُبَّعٍ ۚ كُلٌّ كَذَّبَ ٱلرُّسُلَ فَحَقَّ وَعِيدِ

People Of Tubba‘ (Qaumu Tubba‘)People Of The Wood (Ashabul-Aikah)Promise / Warning, (Wa‘id)‘Ad / People Of / Destroyed For Rejecting Truth,‘Ad / People Of / Rejected Messengers

And the Dwellers of the Wood, and the people of Tubba‘. All of them rejected the Messengers with the result that My threatened punishment befell them.
50:21

وَنُفِخَ فِى ٱلصُّورِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ يَوْمُ ٱلْوَعِيدِ

Day Of Promise (Yaumul-Wa‘id)Promise / Warning, (Wa‘id)Resurrection / After DeathTrumpet (Sur)

And the trumpet shall be blown: ‘This is the Day of Promise.’
50:29

قَالَ لَا تَخْتَصِمُوا۟ لَدَىَّ وَقَدْ قَدَّمْتُ إِلَيْكُم بِٱلْوَعِيدِ

Promise / Warning, (Wa‘id)

God will say, ‘Quarrel not in My presence, I gave you the warning beforehand.
50:46

نَّحْنُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يَقُولُونَ ۖ وَمَآ أَنتَ عَلَيْهِم بِجَبَّارٍ ۖ فَذَكِّرْ بِٱلْقُرْءَانِ مَن يَخَافُ وَعِيدِ

Compulsion In Faith (Ikrah Fid-Din)Promise / Warning, (Wa‘id)Qur’an / Healing & Guidance

We know best what they say; and thou hast not been appointed to compel them in any way. So admonish, by means of the Qur’an, him who fears My warning.
