وَإِن تَجْهَرْ بِٱلْقَوْلِ فَإِنَّهُۥ يَعْلَمُ ٱلسِّرَّ وَأَخْفَى

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

And if thou speakest aloud, it makes no difference, for He knows the secret thought and what is yet more hidden.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اور اگر تو اونچی آواز میں بات کرے تو یقیناً وہ تو ہر پوشیدہ اور پوشیدہ تر کو بھی جانتا ہے۔

Et si tu parles à voix haute, Il t’entend et aussi si tu parles à voix basse, car Il connaît tous les secrets, et même ce qui est plus caché.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اگر تو اونچی آواز سے بولے تو خدااس کو بھی سنتا ہے اور اگر آہستہ آواز سے بولے تو اس کو بھی سنتا ہے کیونکہ وہ پوشیدہ بات کو بھی جانتا ہے اور جو بہت ہی پوشیدہ ہوتی ہے (اسے بھی جانتا ہے)

English - Short Commentary Translation

[b]And if thou speakest aloud, He hears it and also if thou speakest in a low voice, for He knows the secret thoughts of man and what is yet more hidden.[1810]

2:78; 6:4; 11:6; 67:14.

The word Sirr (secret thoughts) signifies the thoughts that lie hidden in man’s breast which he alone knows, and Akhfa (more hidden) comprises all those ideals, ideas and ambitions of a person which lie hidden in the womb of futurity and have never crossed his mind.

English - Five Volume Translation

[a]And if thou speakest aloud, it makes no difference, for He knows the secret thought and what is yet more hidden.[2244]

Commentary:

Whereas the word السر (secret thought) signifies the thoughts that lie hidden in a man’s breast which he alone knows, the word أخفی (more hidden) comprises all those ideals, thoughts and ambitions of a person which lie hidden in the womb of futurity and have never crossed his mind.

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

تم چاہے اپنی بات پکار کر کہو، وہ تو چپکے سے کہی ہوئی بات بلکہ اس سے مخفی تر بات بھی جانتا ہے

English - Sahih

And if you speak aloud - then indeed, He knows the secret and what is [even] more hidden.

اور اگرتو پکار کر بات کہے تو وہ پوشیدہ اور اس سے بھی زیادہ پوشیدہ کو جانتا ہے
