21:39

وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَٰذَا ٱلْوَعْدُ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

And they say, ‘When will this promise be fulfilled, if you are truthful?’

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اور وہ کہتے ہیں کہ یہ وعدہ کب پورا ہوگا اگر تم سچے ہو۔

French

Et ils disent : « Quand cette promesse sera-t-elle accomplie, si vous êtes véridiques ? »

German

Und sie sagen: "Wann wird diese Verheißung (in Erfüllung gehen), wenn ihr wahrhaftig seid?"

Chinese

[b]他们 (听到这话以后) 说: “如果你们 (信者) 是诚实的, 那么, 这诺言什么时候实现?”

Italian

Ed essi dicono: «Quando si compirà questa promessa, se siete sinceri?»

Spanish

Y dicen: “¿Cuándo se cumplirá esta promesa, si sois veraces?”.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اور یہ (سن کر) وہ کہتے ہیں کہ اگر تم لوگ (یعنی مسلمان) سچے ہو تو یہ وعدہ کب پورا ہوگا؟

English - Short Commentary Translation

[a]And they say, ‘When will this promise be fulfilled, if you are truthful?’

34:30; 36:49; 67:26.

English - Five Volume Translation

[a]And they say, ‘When will this promise be fulfilled, if you are truthful?’[2379]

34:30; 36:49; 67:26.

Commentary:

The reference in the words, when will this promise be fulfilled, is to the sign of punishment referred to in the preceding verse. The disbelievers demanded that they should be punished for their rejection of the Holy Prophet there and then. It is to this impatience of theirs that the verse refers.

یہ لوگ کہتے ہیں "آخر یہ دھمکی پُوری کب ہو گی اگر تم سچے ہو"

And they say, "When is this promise, if you should be truthful?"

ور کہتے ہیں یہ وعدہ کب ہوگا اگر تم سچے ہو

And they say, "When (will be fulfilled) this promise, if you are truthful?"
