وَإِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱلْءَاخِرَةِ عَنِ ٱلصِّرَٰطِ لَنَٰكِبُونَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

And those who believe not in the Hereafter, are indeed deviating from that path.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اور یقیناً وہ لوگ جو آخرت پر ایمان نہیں لاتے سیدھے رستے سے بہک جانے والے ہیں۔

French

Et ceux qui ne croient pas en l’au-delà dévient assurément de ce chemin-là.

German

und jene, die nicht an das Jenseits glauben, weichen wahrlich ab von dem Weg.

凡是不信后世的, 他们的确正在背离 (正) 道。

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اور جو لوگ آخرت پر ایمان نہیں لاتے وہ (سچے) راستہ سے ہٹنے والے ہیں۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

And those, who believe not in the Hereafter, are indeed deviating from that path.

English - Five Volume Translation

And those who believe not in the Hereafter, are indeed deviating from that path.[2560A]

Important Words:

ناکبون (deviating) is the plural of ناکب which is active participle from نکب. They say نکب عن الطریق (nakiba) i.e. he deviated or turned aside from the path. نکب الرجل means, the shoulder of the man complained of pain. نکب البعیر means, the camel suffered from a disease of the shoulder (Aqrab).

مگر جو لوگ آخرت کو نہیں مانتے وہ راہِ راست سے ہٹ کر چلنا چاہتے ہیں

English - Sahih

But indeed, those who do not believe in the Hereafter are deviating from the path.

اور جو لوگ آخرت کو نہیں مانتے سیدھے راستہ سے ہٹنے والے ہیں

And indeed, those who (do) not believe in the Hereafter from the path surely (are) deviating.
