25:38

وَقَوۡمَ نُوۡحٍ لَّمَّا کَذَّبُوا الرُّسُلَ اَغۡرَقۡنٰہُمۡ وَجَعَلۡنٰہُمۡ لِلنَّاسِ اٰیَۃً ۖ وَّاَعۡتَدۡنَا لِلظّٰلِمِیۡنَ عَذَابًا اَلِیۡمًا

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

And as to the people of Noah when they rejected the Messengers, We drowned them, and We made them a Sign for mankind. And We have prepared a painful punishment for the wrongdoers.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اور نوح کی قوم کو بھی جب انہوں نے رسولوں کو جھٹلایا ہم نے انہیں غرق کر دیا اور انہیں ہم نے لوگوں کے لئے ایک نشان بنادیا۔ اور ظالموں کے لئے ہم نے بہت دردناک عذاب تیار کر رکھا ہے۔

French

Et quant au peuple de Noé, lorsqu’ils ont rejeté les Messagers, Nous les avons noyés et Nous en avons fait un Signe pour l’humanité. Et Nous avons préparé un châtiment douloureux pour les injustes.

Und das Volk Noahs: Als sie die Gesandten verleugneten, ertränkten Wir sie und machten sie zu einem Zeichen für die Menschen. Und Wir haben für die Frevler eine schmerzliche Strafe bereitet.

当努哈的民族不信使者时, 我淹没了他们, 把他们作为人类的迹象。[a]我已为不义的人预备了痛苦的刑罚。

E quanto al popolo di Noè, quando loro rifiutarono i messaggeri, li annegammo, facendone un segno per l'umanità. E Noi abbiamo preparato per i malvagi una dolorosa punizione.

Y en cuanto al pueblo de Noé, cuando rechazaron a los Mensajeros, los ahogamos y los convertimos en un Signo para la humanidad. Pues hemos preparado un doloroso castigo para los inicuos.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اور قوم نوح کو بھی جب انہوں نے رسولوں کا انکار کیا ہم نے غرق کر دیا اور ہم نے انہیں لوگوں کے لئے ایک نشان بنا دیا اور ہم نے ظالموں کے لئے دردناک عذاب تیار کر چھوڑا ہے۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

And the people of Noah, when they rejected the Messengers, We drowned them, and We made them a Sign for mankind. [e]And We have prepared a painful punishment for the wrongdoers.

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

یہی حال قوم نوحؑ کا ہوا جب انہوں نے رسولوں کی تکذیب کی ہم نے اُن کو غرق کر دیا اور دنیا بھر کے لوگوں کے لیے ایک نشان عبرت بنا دیا اور ان ظالموں کے لیے ایک دردناک عذاب ہم نے مہیا کر رکھا ہے

And the people of Noah - when they denied the messengers, We drowned them, and We made them for mankind a sign. And We have prepared for the wrongdoers a painful punishment.

اور نوح کی قوم کوبھی جب انہو ں نے رسولوں کو جھٹلایا تو ہم نے انہیں غرق کر دیا اور ہم نے انہیں لوگوں کے لیے نشانی بنا دیا اور ہم نے ظالموں کے لیے دردناک عذاب تیار کیا ہے

And the people of Noah, when they cried lies to the Messengers, We drowned them, and made them to be a sign to mankind; and We have prepared for the evildoers a painful chastisement.

The same was the case with the people of Noah when they charged the Messenger with imposture: We drowned them and made them a sign of warning for entire mankind, and We have prepared a painful chastisement for the unjust.
