وَٱلَّذِينَ يَبِيتُونَ لِرَبِّهِمْ سُجَّدًا وَقِيَٰمًا

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

And who spend the night before their Lord, prostrate and standing,

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اور وہ لوگ جو اپنے ربّ کے لئے راتیں سجدہ کرتے ہوئے اور قیام کرتے ہوئے گزارتے ہیں۔

French

Et qui passent la nuit prosternés et debout devant leur Seigneur.

und die Nacht vor ihrem Herrn hinbringen, sich niederwerfend und stehend,

[e]他们是朝向自己的养主叩头, 立身度夜的,

Y que pasan la noche ante su Señor, postrados o de pie,

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اور وہ لوگ بھی جو اپنے رب کے لئے راتیں سجدوں میں اور کھڑے ہو کر گذار دیتے ہیں۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

[d]And who spend the night in prostration and standing before their Lord,

41:39; 73:21.

Commentary:

History bears witness to the fact that early Muslims, even in the field of battle, while they had actually remained engaged all day long in fighting, spent their nights in prayer and the remembrance of God.

جو اپنے رب کے حضور سجدے اور قیام میں راتیں گزارتے ہیں

And those who spend [part of] the night to their Lord prostrating and standing [in prayer]
