لَا یُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ بِہٖ حَتّٰی یَرَوُا الۡعَذَابَ الۡاَلِیۡمَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

They will not believe in it until they see the grievous punishment.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

(کہ) وہ اس پر ایمان نہیں لائیں گے یہاں تک کہ درد ناک عذاب کو دیکھ لیں۔

sie werden nicht an ihn glauben, bis sie die schmerzliche Strafe erschauen;

非得他们亲见痛苦的惩罚, 他们将不会信仰它,

Essi non vi crederanno, finché non vedranno la dolorosa punizione,

No creerán en él mientras no vean el doloroso castigo,

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

(پس) وہ اس پر ایمان نہیں لائیں گے یہاں تک کہ دردناک عذاب دیکھ لیں۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

They will not believe init until they see the grievous punishment,

15:14.

Commentary:

The verse purports to say that when the hearts of the sinful become vitiated on account of their indulgence in sin and vice, they develop an antipathy towards truth and it becomes difficult for them to accept it and thus by rejecting the truth they invite Divine punishment to overtake them.

وہ اس پر ایمان نہیں لاتے جب تک عذاب الیم نہ دیکھ لیں
