Pharaoh said, ‘And what is the Lord of the worlds?’
Moses’s reply to Pharaoh, as mentioned in the preceding verse, seemed to have utterly confounded him and he at once changed the subject, seeking to involve Moses in a metaphysical discussion about the existence and person of the Divine Being and the nature of His attributes.
