فَأَلْقَوْا۟ حِبَالَهُمْ وَعِصِيَّهُمْ وَقَالُوا۟ بِعِزَّةِ فِرْعَوْنَ إِنَّا لَنَحْنُ ٱلْغَٰلِبُونَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

So they threw down their ropes and their rods, and said, ‘By Pharaoh’s honour, it is we who will surely win.’

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

تب انہوں نے اپنی رسیاں اور اپنی سونٹیاں (زمین پر) ڈال دیں اور کہا فرعون کی عزت کی قسم! یقیناً ہم ہی غالب آنے والے ہیں۔

French

Alors ils jetèrent leurs cordes et leurs bâtons, et dirent : « Par l’honneur de Pharaon, c’est sûrement nous qui seront les vainqueurs. »

Da warfen sie ihre Stricke und ihre Stäbe hin und sprachen: "Bei Pharaos Macht, wir sind es, die sicherlich siegen werden."

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اس پر انہوں نے اپنی رسیاں اور اپنے سونٹے (میدان میں نکال کر) رکھ دیے اور کہا‘ فرعون کے اقبال کی قسم‘ ہم ضرور غالب آئیں گے۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

So they threw down their ropes and their rods and said, ‘By Pharaoh’s honour, it is we who will surely win.’

English - Five Volume Translation

So they threw down their ropes and their rods, and said, ‘By Pharaoh’s honour, it is we who will surely win.’[2734]

Important Words:

عزة (honour) means, honour; high position; might and power; pride; consciousness of one’s high position and rank (Lane & Aqrab).

انہوں نے فوراً اپنی رسیاں اور لاٹھیاں پھینک دیں اور بولے "فرعون کے اقبال سے ہم ہی غالب رہیں گے"

English - Sahih

So they threw their ropes and their staffs and said, "By the might of Pharaoh, indeed it is we who are predominant."

پھر انہوں نے اپنی رسیاں اور لاٹھیاں ڈال دیں اور کہا فرعون کے اقبال سے ہماری فتح ہے
