فَقَدۡ کَذَّبُوۡا فَسَیَاۡتِیۡہِمۡ اَنۡۢبٰٓؤُا مَا کَانُوۡا بِہٖ یَسۡتَہۡزِءُوۡنَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

They have, indeed, treated it as a lie, but soon there will come to them the tidings of that at which they mocked.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

پس یقیناً انہوں نے (ہر تازہ نشان کو) جھٹلا دیا ہے۔ سو ضرور انہیں ان (باتوں کے پورا ہونے) کی خبریں ملیں گی جن کا وہ مذاق اڑایا کرتے تھے۔

French

Ils ont en vérité traité le Rappel de mensonge ; mais bientôt ils auront des nouvelles de ce dont ils se sont moqués.

Sie haben tatsächlich (die Ermahnung) verworfen; bald aber wird Kunde zu ihnen kommen von dem, was sie verspotteten.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

سو (چونکہ) انہوں نے (خداتعالیٰ کی آیتوں کو) جھٹلایا ہے اس کے نتیجہ میں ان کے استہزا کی حقیقت ضرور ان پر کھل جائے گی۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

[a]They have, indeed, treated it as a lie but soon there will come to them the tidings of that at which they mocked.

Commentary:

The verse has an implied allusion to the Biblical prophecy, viz. "the stone which the builders rejected has become the head of the corner" (Matt. 21:42).

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

اب کہ یہ جھٹلا چکے ہیں، عنقریب اِن کو اس چیز کی حقیقت (مختلف طریقوں سے) معلوم ہو جائے گی جس کا یہ مذاق اڑاتے رہے ہیں

English - Sahih

For they have already denied, but there will come to them the news of that which they used to ridicule.

سو یہ جھٹلاتو چکے اب ان کے پاس اس چیز کی حقیقت آئے گی جس پر ٹھٹھا کیا کرتے تھے

So verily, they have denied, then will come to them the news (of) what they used at it (to) mock.
