28:71

وَہُوَ اللّٰہُ لَاۤ اِلٰہَ اِلَّا ہُوَ ۖ لَہُ الۡحَمۡدُ فِی الۡاُوۡلٰی وَالۡاٰخِرَۃِ ۖ وَلَہُ الۡحُکۡمُ وَاِلَیۡہِ تُرۡجَعُوۡنَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

And He is Allah; there is no God but He. To Him belongs all praise in the beginning and the Hereafter. His is the judgment and to Him shall you be brought back.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اور وہی ہے اللہ، اس کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں۔ ابتدا اور آخرت (دونوں) میں تعریف اُسی کی ہے اور اُسی کا حکم چلتا ہے اور اُسی کی طرف تم لوٹائے جاؤ گے۔

French

Et Il est Allāh ; il n’y a de dieu que Lui. A Lui appartiennent toutes les louanges au commencement et dans l’au-delà. A Lui le jugement, et à Lui vous serez ramenés.

German

Und Er ist Allah; es gibt keinen Gott außer Ihm. Ihm gebührt aller Preis am Anfang und am Ende. Sein ist die Herrschaft, und zu Ihm sollt ihr zurückgebracht werden.

他是安拉, 除他以外, 再没有值得崇拜的对象。在开始和末后的赞诵都是安拉的。(一切的) 主权都在他的掌握中, 你们都得归回到他那里。

Italian

Ed Egli è Allah. Non c'è altro dio all'infuori di Lui. A Lui appartiene ogni lode, in principio e nell'Aldilà. Suo è il giudizio e a Lui sarete ricondotti.

Spanish

Él es Al‑lah; no hay más dios que Él. A Él corresponde toda la alabanza en el comienzo y en el Más Allá. Suyo es el juicio, y a Él seréis devueltos.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اور حقیقت یہ ہے کہ اللہ کی ذات ایسی ہے کہ اس کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں ابتدائے آفرینش میں بھی وہ تعریف کا مستحق تھا۔ اور آخرت میں بھی وہی تعریف کا مستحق ہوگا۔ سب بادشاہت اسی کے قبضہ میں ہے اور تم سب کو اسی کی طرف لوٹ کر جانا ہوگا۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

And He is Allah; there is no god but He. To Him belongs all praise in the beginning and the Hereafter. His is the dominion, and to Him shall you be brought back.

English - Five Volume Translation

And He is Allah; there is no god but He. To Him belongs all praise in the beginning and the Hereafter. His is the judgement, and to Him shall you be brought back.[2926]

Commentary:

The words, "To Him belongs all praise in the beginning and the Hereafter," signify that it is not possible to begin a work unless God provides the means for it and that no work can become complete unless He has provided the means for its completion, and that it can produce no result without His help. The expression الا ولٰی و آلاخرة may also signify respectively the Mosaic and Islamic Dispensations.

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

وہی ایک اللہ ہے جس کے سوا کوئی عبادت کا مستحق نہیں اسی کے لیے حمد ہے دنیا میں بھی اور آخرت میں بھی، فرماں روائی اسی کی ہے اور اسی کی طرف تم سب پلٹائے جانے والے ہو

English - Sahih

And He is Allah; there is no deity except Him. To Him is [due all] praise in the first [life] and the Hereafter. And His is the [final] decision, and to Him you will be returned.

اردو ترجمہ احمد علی

اور وہی الله ہے اس کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں دنیا اور آخرت میں اسی کی تعریف ہے اور اسی کی حکومت ہے اورتم اسی کی طرف لوٹائے جاؤ گے

English - Talal Itani

And He (is) Allah; (there is) no god but He. To Him (are due) all praises in the first and the last. And for Him (is) the Decision, and to Him you will be returned.

اردہ تفصیرِ صغیر نوٹس ^*

English - Arberry

And He is God; there is no god but He. His is the praise in the former as in the latter; His too is the Judgment, and unto Him you shall be returned.

English - Maududi

He is Allah; there is no god but He. His is the praise in this world and in the Hereafter. His is the command and to Him will all of you be returned.

English - Ahmed Ali

He is God. There is no god but He. His alone is praise first and last, and His the judgement, and to Him will you be brought back in the end.

English - Yusuf Ali

And He is Allah: There is no god but He. To Him be praise, at the first and at the last: for Him is the Command, and to Him shall ye (all) be brought back.
