28:78
وَٱبْتَغِ فِيمَآ ءَاتَىٰكَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلدَّارَ ٱلْءَاخِرَةَ ۖ وَلَا تَنسَ نَصِيبَكَ مِنَ ٱلدُّنْيَا ۖ وَأَحْسِن كَمَآ أَحْسَنَ ٱللَّهُ إِلَيْكَ ۖ وَلَا تَبْغِ ٱلْفَسَادَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلْمُفْسِدِينَ
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
‘And seek, in that which Allah has given thee, the Home of the Hereafter; and neglect not thy lot in this world; and do good to others as Allah has done good to thee; and seek not to make mischief in the earth, verily Allah loves not those who make mischief.’

اور جو کچھ اللہ نے تجھے عطا کیا ہے اس کے ذریعہ دارِآخرت کمانے کی خواہش کر اور دنیا میں سے بھی اپنا معیّن حصہ نظرانداز نہ کر اور احسان کا سلوک کر جیسا کہ اللہ نے تجھ سے احسان کا سلوک کیا اور زمین میں فساد (پھیلانا) پسند نہ کر۔ یقیناً اللہ فسادیوں کو پسند نہیں کرتا۔
French
Et recherche la Demeure de l’au-delà dans ce qu’Allāh t’a donné ; et ne néglige pas ta part dans ce monde ; et fais du bien aux autres comme Allāh t’a fait du bien ; et ne cherche pas à créer le désordre sur la terre. En vérité, Allāh n’aime pas ceux qui créent le désordre. »
German
sondern suche in dem, was Allah dir gegeben, die Wohnstatt des Jenseits, und vernachlässige deinen Teil an der Welt nicht; und tue Gutes, wie Allah dir Gutes getan hat; und begehre nicht Unheil auf Erden, denn Allah liebt die Unheilstifter nicht."

“要以安拉所赐予你的东西寻求后世的居所, 也不要忘却你在今世的份额; 要善待人类, 像安拉善待你一样。不要在大地上制造混乱, 安拉不喜爱制造混乱的人;”

e cerca, in ciò che Allah ti ha dato, l'abitazione dell'Aldilà; e non disprezzare la tua sorte in questo mondo; e fa del bene agli altri, come Allah ha fatto del bene a te; e non cercare di seminare discordia nel paese. Di certo Allah non ama quelli che seminano discordia.»

“Y busca, en lo que Al‑lah te ha dado, la morada del Más Allá; no olvides tu parte en este mundo; y haz el bien a los demás como Al‑lah lo ha hecho contigo; no pretendas hacer el mal en la tierra pues en verdad Al-lah no ama a quienes hacen el mal”.
اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
اور جو کچھ تجھے اللہ نے دیا ہے اس سے اُخروی زندگی کے گھر کی تلاش کر۔ اور دنیوی زندگی سے تجھے جو حصہ ملا ہے اسے بھی بھول نہیں (ہم تجھے ایک حد تک دنیا کی آسائشوں کے استعمال سے روکتے نہیں) اور جس طرح اللہ نے تجھ پر احسان کیا ہے تو بھی لوگوں پر احسان کر اور ملک میں فساد پھیلانے کی کوشش نہ کر۔ اللہ یقیناً مفسدوں کو پسند نہیں کرتا۔
English - Short Commentary Translation
‘And seek, in that which Allah has given thee, the Home of the Hereafter; and neglect not thy lot in this world; and do good to others as Allah has done good to thee; and seek not to create mischief in the land. Verily, Allah loves not those who create mischief;’
English - Five Volume Translation
And seek, in that which Allah has given thee, the Home of the Hereafter; and neglect not thy lot in this world; and do good to others as Allah has done good to thee; and seek not to make mischief in the earth, verily, Allah loves not those who make mischief.’[2931]
Commentary:
Islam does not view with favour such flight from the world as Christianity inculcates among its votaries. One should not deny one’s portion of the good things of the world. As a matter of fact at another place in the Quran the believers are enjoined to pray to God "to grant them the good things of this world as well as the good things of the world to come" (2:202), only the pursuit of the good things of this world should not make one neglect the seeking of the good things of the Hereafter. Islam is not a religion of monks and recluses but of pious and righteous men of the world.

جو مال اللہ نے تجھے دیا ہے اس سے آخرت کا گھر بنانے کی فکر کر اور دُنیا میں سے بھی اپنا حصہ فراموش نہ کر احسان کر جس طرح اللہ نے تیرے ساتھ احسان کیا ہے اور زمین میں فساد برپا کرنے کی کوشش نہ کر، اللہ مفسدوں کو پسند نہیں کرتا"
English - Sahih
But seek, through that which Allah has given you, the home of the Hereafter; and [yet], do not forget your share of the world. And do good as Allah has done good to you. And desire not corruption in the land. Indeed, Allah does not like corrupters."

اور جو کچھ تجھے الله نے دیا ہے اس سے آخرت کا گھر حاصل کر اور اپنا حصہ دنیا میں سے نہ بھول اور بھلائی کر جس طرح الله نے تیرے ساتھ بھلائی کی ہے اور ملک میں فساد کا خواہاں نہ ہو بے شک الله فساد کرنے والوں کو پسندنہیں کرتا

but seek, amidst that which God has given thee, the Last Abode, and forget not thy portion of the present world; and do good, as God has been good to thee.' And seek not to work corruption in the earth; surely God loves not the workers of corruption.'

Seek by means of the wealth that Allah has granted you the Abode of the Hereafter, but forget not your share in this world and do good as Allah has been good to you and do not strive to create mischief in the land, for Allah loves not those who create mischief."

Commentary:
