28:80

فَخَرَجَ عَلٰی قَوۡمِہٖ فِیۡ زِیۡنَتِہٖ ۖ قَالَ الَّذِیۡنَ یُرِیۡدُوۡنَ الۡحَیٰوۃَ الدُّنۡیَا یٰلَیۡتَ لَنَا مِثۡلَ مَاۤ اُوۡتِیَ قٰرُوۡنُ اِنَّہٗ لَذُوۡ حَظٍّ عَظِیۡمٍ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

So he went forth before his people in his pomp. Those who were desirous of the life of this world said, ‘O would that we had the like of what Korah has been given! Truly, he is the master of great fortune.’

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

پس وہ اپنی قوم میں اپنی سج دھج کے ساتھ نکلا۔ ان لوگوں نے جو دنیا کی زندگی چاہتے تھے کہا کاش! ہمارے لئے بھی ویسا ہی ہوتا جو قارون کو دیا گیا۔ یقیناً وہ بڑے نصیب والا ہے۔

French

Alors il parut en grand apparat devant son peuple. Ceux qui étaient désireux de la vie de ce monde, dirent : « Que n’avons-nous des richesses pareilles à celles qui ont été accordées à Korah ! En vérité, il possède une grande fortune. »

So ging er denn hinaus zu seinem Volk in seinem Schmuck. Jene nun, die nach dem Leben in dieser Welt begierig waren, sprachen: "O dass wir doch das gleiche besäßen wie das, was Korah gegeben ward! Fürwahr, er ist der Herr gewaltigen Glückes."

(有一天) 库伦盛装出来见他的族人, 那些想望今世生活 (享受) 的人说: “但愿我们也受赐库伦所赐的那样, 他实在是个十分幸运的人。”

Così egli si presentò alla sua gente in tutto il suo fasto. Quanti desideravano la vita di questo mondo dissero: «Magari fossero state date a noi cose simili a quelle che sono state date a Korah! In verità, egli è padrone di una grande fortuna.»

Spanish

Así se presentó ante su pueblo con su pompa. Los que ambicionaban la vida de este mundo, dijeron: “¡Oh, ojalá tuviésemos algo similar a lo que se ha dado a Korah! En verdad, es el dueño de una gran fortuna”.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

(ایک دن ایسا ہوا کہ) وہ اپنی قوم کے سامنے اپنی زینت[4] (یعنی اپنے باڈی گارڈ) کے ساتھ نکلا۔ اس پر وہ لوگ جو کہ دنیا کی زندگی کا سامان چاہتے تھے بول اٹھے‘ اے کاش! ہمیں بھی وہی کچھ ملتا جو قارون کو دیا گیا‘ اس کو تو (دنیا کا ایک) بہت بڑا حصہ ملا ہے۔

اس سے بھی ثابت ہوتا ہے کہ وہ سرکاری افسر تھا۔

So he went forth before his people in all his pomp. Those who were desirous of the life of this world said, ‘Would that we had the like of what Korah has been given! Truly, he is the master of a great fortune.’

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

ایک روز وہ اپنی قوم کے سامنے اپنے پُورے ٹھاٹھ میں نکلا جو لوگ حیات دنیا کے طالب تھے وہ اسے دیکھ کر کہنے لگے "کاش ہمیں بھی وہی کچھ ملتا جو قارون کو دیا گیا ہے، یہ تو بڑا نصیبے والا ہے"

So he came out before his people in his adornment. Those who desired the worldly life said, "Oh, would that we had like what was given to Qarun. Indeed, he is one of great fortune."

اپنی قوم کے سامنے اپنے ٹھاٹھ سے نکلا جو لوگ دنیا کی زندگی کے طالب تھے کہنے لگے اے کاش ہمارے لیے بھی ویسا ہوتا جیسا کہ قارون کو دیا گیا ہے بے شک وہ بڑے نصیب والا ہے

So he went forth to his people in his adornment. Said those who desire the life (of) the world, "O! Would that for us (the) like (of) what has been given (to) Qarun. Indeed, he (is the) owner (of) fortune great."

اردہ تفصیرِ صغیر نوٹس ^*

اس سے بھی ثابت ہوتا ہے کہ وہ سرکاری افسر تھا۔

So he went forth unto his people in his adornment. Those who desired the present life said, 'Would that we possessed the like of that Korah has been given! Surely he is a man of mighty fortune.

Once Korah went forth among his people in full glitter. Those seeking the life of this world said: "Would that we had the like of what Korah has! He truly has a great fortune."

Then he came before his people in all pomp; and those enamoured of this world, said: "Ah would that we had what Qarun has been given! He indeed possesses great good fortune."

So he went forth among his people in the (pride of his wordly) glitter. Said those whose aim is the Life of this World: "Oh! that we had the like of what Qarun has got! for he is truly a lord of mighty good fortune!"
