وَیُعَلِّمُہُ الۡکِتٰبَ وَالۡحِکۡمَۃَ وَالتَّوۡرٰٮۃَ وَالۡاِنۡجِیۡلَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

“And He will teach him the Book and the Wisdom and the Torah and the Gospel;

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اور وہ اُسے کتاب اور حکمت کی تعلیم دے گا اور تورات اورانجیل کی۔

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اور (یہ بھی بشارت دی کہ اللہ) اسے کتاب اور حکمت (کی باتیں) سکھائے گا اور تورات اور انجیل (سکھائے گا۔)

English - Short Commentary Translation

“And [b]He will teach him the Book and the Wisdom and the Torah and the Gospel;

5:111.

And [a]He will teach him the Book and the Wisdom and the Torah and the Gospel;[338]

5:111.

Commentary:

The word کتاب (Book) signifies both "the Book" and the "art of writing". If the word be here taken to mean "the Book", then it would apply to the "Torah", the Law of Moses, and in this case the concluding words, "the Torah and the Gospel" would be taken as explanatory, the word "Torah" standing for the "Book" and the word "Gospel" for "Wisdom".

(فرشتوں نے پھر سلسلئہ کلام میں کہا) "اور اللہ اُسے کتاب اور حکمت کی تعلیم دے گا، تورات اور انجیل کا علم سکھائے گا
