رَبَّنَاۤ اٰمَنَّا بِمَاۤ اَنۡزَلۡتَ وَاتَّبَعۡنَا الرَّسُوۡلَ فَاکۡتُبۡنَا مَعَ الشّٰہِدِیۡنَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

‘Our Lord, we believe in that which Thou hast sent down and we follow this Messenger. So write us down among those who bear witness.’

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

اے ہمارے ربّ! ہم اس پر ایمان لے آئے جو تُو نے اُتارا اور ہم نے رسول کی پیروی کی۔ پس ہمیں (حق کی) گواہی دینے والوں میں لکھ دے۔

French

Notre Seigneur, nous croyons en ce que Tu as fait descendre et nous suivons le Messager. Inscris-nous donc au nombre des témoins. »

German

Unser Herr, wir glauben an das, was Du herabgesandt hast, und wir folgen diesem Gesandten. So schreibe uns ein unter die Bezeugenden."

Chinese

我们的养主啊! 我们已信仰了你所下降的启示, 已顺从了这位使者, 求你把我们记录在作证的一群中。

Italian

Signore nostro, noi crediamo in ciò che Tu hai fatto scendere e seguiamo questo messaggero. Perciò annoveraci tra i testimoni.»

Spanish

“Señor nuestro, creemos en lo que Tú has revelado y seguimos a este Mensajero. Inscríbenos, pues, entre los que son testigos.”

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اے ہمارے رب! جو کچھ تو نے اتارا ہے اس پر ہم ایمان لے آئے ہیں اور ہم اس رسول کے متبع ہو گئے ہیں۔ اس لئے تو ہمیں گواہوں میں لکھ لے۔

English - Short Commentary Translation

‘Our Lord, we believe in that which Thou hast sent down and we follow this Messenger. So write us down among those who bear witness.’

English - Five Volume Translation

Our Lord, we believe in that which Thou hast sent down and we follow this Messenger. So write us down among those who bear witness.’[343]

Commentary:

Not only did the disciples of Jesus heartily respond to his call for aid, but also bore witness to his truth both by words of mouth and by their good example and faithful conduct. The verse also makes it clear that the disciples looked upon Jesus as only a Messenger of God with no claim to divinity.

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

مالک! جو فرمان تو نے نازل کیا ہے ہم نے اسے مان لیا اور رسول کی پیروی قبول کی، ہمارا نام گواہی دینے والوں میں لکھ لے"

English - Sahih

Our Lord, we have believed in what You revealed and have followed the messenger Jesus, so register us among the witnesses [to truth]."

اے رب ہمارے! ہم اس چیز پر ایمان لائے جو تو نے نازل کی اور ہم رسول کے تابعدار ہوئے سو تو ہمیں گواہی دینے والوں میں لکھ لے
